So I FINALLY got out of the writers block, it was a couple month stretch of unable to write anything original, rewrites were nothing! I just had to copy it and use some inspiration from the  given material, but for a whole new chapter? It was NOT happening!

I have uploaded chapter 28 before but I hated it! I finally got the new version redone and while I am still kinda unhappy about this chapter, I like it more than the other version! I hope you do as well!! :3

Chapter 28: Control.

"There were two Akatsuki members, once Gaara located them he ordered everyone back refusing to have aid, Kami if anything happens to him-"
"Temari nothing will happen to Gaara, I'll make sure of that!" Naru barked from the front of the group, Temari looked at her biting her and noticed the tears building in Naru's eyes.

'Thank you Naru,' She thought.

"Naru, do you even know where to go?" Kakashi said springing to the front with her, she let out a sigh gripping Mamoru's vest.

"I spent some time solo while training these last three years, I searched and tracked the Akatsuki on my own, the closest location they could head with Gaara would be SouthWest of Wind, since we destroyed their last one..." She said.

"That's risky, you know-"
"I was fine! I had to do this, even if you, Tsunade, Jiraiya, anyone doesn't approve I didn't do it for your approval, I am going after the akatsuki and I will be the one to stop them. They have done too much damage to the world and people like that doesn't need to be free from the consequences." She snipped back at him.

"I understand it's personal for you, but you should know running in without a plan, guided by rage or revenge will not only get you killed, but everyone." Kakashi scolded, Naru took in a deep breath giving the sign she was done speaking with him on the subject.

Mamoru looked up at Kakashi who returned his gaze, both thinking the same thing, maybe Naru wasn't ready for this mission after all.

"Stop." Kakashi ordered making them jump down from the trees and land in the clearing.

"We need a solid plan before we barrel in, we need to make sure we're actually following Gaara's trail."

"I can sense his chakra, it's quite unstable," Mamoru rumbled. "There are two other chakra signals as well, they're at least 5 miles if not more ahead." He said.

"Alright, I am going to send my pack back to Suna, we can wait for their reinforcements-"
"I am not waiting!" Naru interrupted him sending the jounin a malicious glare and a wave of chakra to him.

"Oh yes you will, or I can send you home to Konoha right now." Kakashi snapped back. "Calm down and control yourself!" Naru balled her fists tight. "No doubt Tsunade-sama has sent backup our way, half of my pack will spread out and lead the teams to us, we will track Gaara from a distance and if necessary we will engage, but we stay as a team, no acting on your own." Kakashi commanded mostly to Naru, who let out a quiet growl, chakra wisped around her hand before disappearing. Mamoru bumped her hand making her rub his head and calming her down slightly.

Kakashi bit his thumb spilling blood out and ran through the signs for summoning and with a pop of smoke his loyal pack of Ninja hounds appeared standing at attention waiting for their master's command.

"I want you to split up into three teams, Gaara was captured by the Akatsuki, two search parties from Suna are in the East and North, find and lead them here quickly, keep your noses out for Konoha ninja as well, Pakkun you stick with me and help us track Gaara, make sure we're on the correct trail. Dismissed!" He said the hounds disappeared except for the pug that began to sniff the ground.
