i am awoken by my phone pinging nonstop. i had to pick the most annoying text tone oh my god. i look at my phone to see a constant flow of texts coming in from david.

David: i need you to come over here.

(y/n): david its 9am
David: it's a surprise...

i rolled my eyes and got out of bed. i threw on a striped t-shirt, some ripped jeans, and some converse, threw my hair into a ponytail, and put on some light makeup (concealer, brows, bronzer, and mascara). once i was ready i grabbed my phone, keys , wallet, and camera and headed out to my car. i vlog like the other guys. i became close with the vlog squad at the beginning of last year when gabby invited me to a new years party they had, my then boyfriend, didn't approve of me hanging out with the guys but we broke it off at the end of last year, he was over protective, controlling, and abusive and i'm glad i broke it off. alex is the one who told me to break it off. he has been my rock ever since. we have gotten really close, and i kind of have a crush on him. a big crush. but i don't want to tell him because it will ruin our friendship if he doesn't feel the same.
i pull into davids and get out of the car. i knock on the door and he opens with an obnoxious smirk on his face. i immediately give him the "what are you going to do to me" look and he chuckles evilly. i roll my eyes as he steps aside and let's me walk in. i sit on the couch and david walks up to me with a blindfold in hand.
"i'm gonna need you to put this on."
"i knew it, david, i hate you."
david starts laughing behind the camera and hands me the blindfold.
"my channel better be the top link" i say putting the blindfold on
"i dont know about the TOP link"
"david, i swear to god if this is a spider, or, a snake"
"it's not either of those things" he says as he places a box on my chest
"an animal in a box, is still an animal." alex says from what seems to be the doorway.
"did he just say animal" i say and they both start lauging.
"i dont know why dont you take off your blindfold to find out."
"i- dont want to"
"take it off"
"i cant, im frozen in fear of the snake"
"it's not a snake" david says while cracking up, i can hear alex laughing hysterically
"ill do it" alex reaches down and pulls off the blindfold to reveal my eyes are squinted shut.
"(y/n) open your eyes" at this point they both are basically on the floor.
"i don't want it to sense my fear" i whisper
"(y/n) it's just a box" alex says
i open my eyes to see a wrapped box, it looked harmless, but this is david. i open the box to find two scorpions. i scream and jump up, landing in alex's arms. david starts laughing even harder and he picks the box up and starts walking toward us.
"david, no"
"just touch it"
"david i swear if you take another step"
"come on theyre harmless" he inches closer
"DAVID NO" i jump down from alex's arms and go behind him. trying to escape the scorpions. before i know it alex picks me up and tosses me over his shoulder. i let out a small scream because he starts running away from david who is chasing us with the scorpions.
"you can run but you can't hide!" i hear david yell as alex runs into his room and shuts the door.
he sets me down and we both start laughing so hard.
"i swear i shouldn't have come over here."
"why is that" he asks sarcastically i playfully hit him on the shoulder and he pretends to be hurt.
"awe do i need to kiss it better?" i say in a baby voice. he nods playfully and i roll my eyes and kiss my hand and put it on his shoulder. he chuckles and then all of a sudden he just starts staring at me. making direct eye contact. i smile a little and he starts walking towards me.
"you know theres something thats been on my mind for a while actually." he says as he sits on his bed.
"oh?"
"yeah, i-uh, i guess i'm kinda into you." i look up at him, eyes wide. he is looking down at his hands, fidgeting with them. i walk over to him and sit next to him.
"well, i've got good news for you." he looks up at me and raises and eyebrow. "i'm kinda into you too." i say and he smiles widely and pulls me in for a kiss. it lasts for about 2 minutes until we jump apart, startled by banging at the door.
"are you guys fucking?" dangit david.
"yes! and you can't come in!" alex yells and i giggle.
"wait are you serious." he says in a hushed tone.
"no, we were just making out so if you would please leave us to it." alex says through the door and i hear david from the other side of the door "FINALLY" i couldn't help but laugh.
"now, where were we?" alex says walking back to over to me, grabbing my face and kissing me.
