The radio set in the police car was flashing crazy like Christmas lights. Through it you can hear many different voices making statements. Once in a while we'd hear that old man from before and Issah would tell me to 'shh' even though I wasn't talking. He did all the talking. Telling me all kinds of stuff like "don't leave the car", "if I arrest someone, don't talk to them", "there could be scary stuff here don't get out", and I reminded him "I am not a child. I think I know what I can and can't handle." And then rolled my eyes.

We pulled up to 'the crime scene' with just a few cars parked out front of this small house with a connected garage. A great way to start off your week. There was loud music playing and the garage was foggy. One other cruiser was parked on the side of the street we parked on. Issah stepped out of the vehicle but before closing the door he said, "please, stay in the car." and there was a pleading look in his eyes so I push the lock on my door and give him a reassuring smile. And he headed towards the house.

There are two police officers, the old man and a muscular woman. Through the radio I learned that the old mans name is officer smith. The woman I'm not sure of. I can see the woman has dark brown hair pulled back into a perfect sock bun. The old man has whiskers all across his face and some on the top of his head.

When Issah arrives to the garage door the six young looking adults all look at him and one boy begins to laugh. He doesn't really stand out. Including him there are 3 dark skin, one white and two light skin people. All males.

I could see from here, Issah was tense and it soon amplify as the dark skinned boy who laughed walked up to him. Even though the dark skin boy has a smirk plastered on his face you could tell he was annoyed.

Issah's hands clenched tight into fists. The dark skinned boy started moving his mouth but the windows were closed so I couldn't really hear much.

Listening closely, faintly I hear deep voices screaming things to each other that I just couldn't quite make out. And then the woman and Smith walked over and began to state something with their lips moving in sync. They then both pulled out hand cuffs as did Issah. All six people were arrested and brought to the line of cop cars. Each officer took two people. Issah got the dark skin boy who laughed and the white boy.

Seeing the dark skin boy walk side by side to Issah I noticed they had some similar features. Same sharp jaw, broad shoulders, and tall figure. When the dark skinned boy was under the poor lighting in the garage him and Issah looked nothing alike at all.

The white boy was shoved in first. He had dark almost black hair and pale skin. He had dark tired circles under his eyes and a skinny figure. Even though he was wearing baggie cloths, you could tell he was very thin. Too thin even.

The dark skin boy had handsome features. Although Issah was still breath taking, this was a younger darker version of him. He had very short tight curls on top of his dark head. His hazel eyes popped against his perfect skin completion. His lips were plump and his jaw was chiseled with a super thin line of facial hair that thickened as it turned into a goatee. He also was wearing baggie cloths but I could easily assume that he wasn't scrawny like the white boy.

I gave the dark skin boy a small glance and a sexy smile just before Issah hopped into the cruiser and slammed his door. I looked at Issah with a concerned look and wide eyes and he relaxed a little. He gripped the steering wheel tight turning his knuckles white.

I turn back to look at the road we're winding down heading back to the police station. Suddenly I hear this graceful deep voice boom from behind me, "hey. What's your name?" I turned back to him and locked eyes with his low ones. Being able to take in his appearance I could tell he was more my age now. Maybe nineteen at least.

"Kira." I said cooly. And gave his a half smile. His eyes shut as they rolled back. And he sat back in his seat with a smug smile across his face. He opened his mouth to speak then shut it. He then opened it again, "Logan." I sat back in my seat with a smug smile on my face now.

The ride didn't last much longer after that. Logan and the scrawny white boy sat in a holding cell while Issah filled out lots of paperwork.

Logan and I often shared glances that lasted more than just a few seconds. Holding his gaze Issah looked up at me. Then he looked at Logan and back to me again.

"Hello?!" and I was snapped back to reality.

"yes?" I looked him right in the eyes.

"Your not here to make googlie eyes, your here to help men so help."

I raised my eye brows and looked around slightly smiling, "um okay."

Issah glared at me again so I mocked a salute, "yes sir." and started to work on some easy paperwork that he gave me. I heaved a small sigh. We'd be here for a while.

When I made sure that Issah wasn't looking I stole more glances at Logan but his eyes never left mine. I made the mistake of lingering too long again and Issah was getting more upset now, "okay that's enough. It's time for you to go home." I looked deep into his blue orbs to see where this was coming from. I'd never seen him get this worked up over something before. But then again I've never seen Issah more than just at volunteer and we've just sat around in the office going through paper work and stuff.

I squinted my eyes asking, "what's wrong? Why can't I just look at him? You said I wasn't allowed to talk to him. But you never said anything about looking." And I raise one perfectly shaped eye brow at him. Waiting for an answer.

He just looked my way and turned back to his paperwork for a second and turned back to me. "Just leave him alone. Their no good." He looked tired. Like he was fed up or something.

"Okay. fine." and that was the end of that.

"Alright then." He said and went back to his paperwork. Minutes later after torturously not looking at Logan Issah stood from his chair and stated that he was going to be back. "Just going to the bathroom."

Acting natural I replied, "alright."

As soon as he was out if sight I hoped up from the chair I was sitting in and walked over to Logan. He reached his hand through the bars and took my phone and punched in his number.

When I ran back to my sat and checked my phone contacts it read Logan with a winky face.

Issah reentered the room so I stretched out my arms as if to indicate I was tired and said, "I'm gonna head out. It's been a long day." Issah nodded in agreement and offered to walk me out but I refused his offer.
