I tried to make out the words on his jersey but they were too blurry. I could see a big white "1" printed on his top though. Ugh, why do you care? Ignore him. He's just another handsome dude, that's all...wait, I'm doing it again!

The truth is that I've never watched a basketball game before. I didn't know the rules, I just assumed that it wasn't fun. But I found myself cheering along with the crowd when the ball fell into a hoop. I even bought a Min Yoongi hot dog as a little snack. Not a baguette, but I'm happy that I could ingest some bread. I might've gotten a lil salty when the game ended. An hour felt like a short minute okay.

The players all swarmed together for a hug and everyone in the audience was stood up, clapping joyfully. My gaze shifted from player to player, cringing in disgust from how drenched they were. Finally, my eyes fell on that one guy again and yet again, he was looking in my direction. I stared back to let him know that I was aware of his staring but he didn't break that unruly gaze.

Looking closer, I could notice a few things that weren't there before. Those deep-set eyes were bright even though they were pure obsidian black. It was as if he hated me, seeing that menacing look on his face. He wore an emotionless expression, occasionally pursing his lips and giving me that gunmetal stare. I couldn't help but admire his tender peachy skin, his perfectly messy black hair, his toned physique that has already caused 3 girls to faint. And that cute nose was giving me a hard time thinking straight. These were toxic thoughts that I couldn't accept.

He slowly and seductively traced his soft lips with his tongue, causing me to instantly slap my face to prevent myself from witnessing anymore inappropriate behavior from him. When I thought that the coast was clear, I removed my hands, only to see him flash me the brightest smile I've ever seen. At that moment, I felt my cheeks go rosy and I just wanted to hide but I managed to keep my cool and seem confident when inside, my stomach was filled with butterflies. I wish he could just tear his eyes away from me, but I also want him to keep on looking. This feeling's new, and it's not right. Just.forget.about.him.Daeun.

"So...are we done here?" I asked Jin. I had to flee away before his charms clouded my thoughts even more than they already have. Not only this, it was undeniably pressuring with his eyes on me. My hands were slightly quivering from his enticing gaze that I knew was now going to be a permanent part of my memory. This is bad. You are bad, Daeun.

My mind just couldn't handle the thought of falling for someone like him; handsome, popular, probably occupied...it feels like I'm betraying myself.

"Yeah, we're good to go!" Jin said, "follow me."

We strolled down the stone pathway leading to the huts. Rows and rows of tiny buildings were placed side by side but apparently Jin said that this was only the panther section. Excitement was all I could feel as we went passed each hut. I was specifically excited for my new dorm, but then Jin said that I had to find out my proteni before I could be given a hut. "You have to live with those who have the same proteni. Humans live with humans, it's not humans live with zebras isn't it? Well actually, some rich people do that..." This was what he said.

Jin and I paced towards the once empty building, now crammed with students hurriedly moving along the corridors. The crowd resembled a migration, but instead everyone's super energetic and loud. Jin managed to make everyone go faster with his dad joke 'threat'.

"Alright kids, listen up! I've got a joke for y'all! What do you call an elephant that doesn't matter?

"Move faster! He's telling a joke!" And with that, everyone began to squeeze past each other. Wow, I've never seen students so eager to go to class.
