Part 9

Y/n's Pov

So we drive up to this big ass castle and I am slowly reconsidering everything I have done in my life.

Wow, I really did that.

Yup and you really didn't gain common sense while doing that

Why do you have to be so mean?

Huyana turns to me "I am not sure if you've already received a welcoming but, " she opens the carriage doors and steps out "I welcome you to the Aradonia kingdom." she gracefully opened her arms as she stood in front of the castle.

"I am Huyana Fuentes, royal advisor under Queen Laliana." she winks at me. "You can call her Lali though."

Okay this is too many names for me to remember.

Bitch, she said one new name.

And that is one name too many

She leads me to the entrance. The guards posted outside of it nods to her before moving out of the way so we could enter.

I glance around as we go through the doors. The floors tiles shine and show our reflection as we walk down the large corridor.

Huyana leads me up a large set of stairs.

These stairs take up damn near half the room.

Over exaggerating ass.

"So...where are we going?" I awkwardly shuffled beside Huyana.

She glanced over to me "Well for you to meet the Queen and King of course."

My heart is in my stomach now.

"It's that easy?" I choked out. "You would allow a stranger to meet your royal family?"

It be like that sometimes ~ Nora chuckled

"Well I've already scanned you to see if you were a threat and checked you for weapons five times so I think you'll be alright, " she beamed at me.

... What the hell

"Oh, I am also in charge of the security of the kingdom so I sure hope you are genuine." she says with a light voice but her eyes are more... dark.

"Yes, yes of course, " I nodded.

Please don't kill us

She leads me to giant dark brown double doors.

She looks to me and smiles "Here's my favorite part."

She grabs the handles and pulls the door open firmly. They hit the dark colored walls hard, the sound probably echoing in the whole castle.

"I have arrived!" she exclaims (somehow elegantly?) as she sashays into the room. I slowly followed behind her.

The room of course is grand. In the center stood two thrones, both occupied. The woman sat on one of them glanced up from where she was talking to a messager. A line of people is formed behind that person, some had papers in their hands, all wanting her give attention to some type of subject.

The man that sat next to her didn't even bother to look up from the papers he was reading over and signing.

The woman sighed "Hello Huyana. Darling say hello." she nudged the man.

He glanced up and with a small wave said a soft hello before returning to his work.

Jeez their voices are so silky and refined.

Huyana propped her self up on the arm of the woman's throne.

The woman glanced at her "Huyana, I told you before. You do not have to be so boisterous when you come in. And off my throne." she tapped her thigh gently.

"My dear Lali, " Huyana tapped her cheek. "You told me not to be so boisterous. And I was not I was simply loud." at Laliana's eye roll she added. "Those words have two different definitions." she smiled before hoping off of the throne and advancing towards me.

I guess its safe to assume that this is the queen

... I swear you a whole dumbass sometimes

"Sadly I am not here just to grace you with my charming face. Fortunately though I brought something." she presented me with joy.

Laliana rolled her eyes fondly.

Huyana beamed without restraint "Isn't she lovely? I believe she is a witch and werewolf mix as the smell of magic lingers no matter how descentors I sprayed on her."

Wait she sprayed me?

Laliana also arched her an eyebrow

"I think she is be following by someone so I took away her smell for a while so they cannot track her." she explained.

Ah.

Laliana turns her gaze to me.

"Your name child?"

"Uh, it's Y/n."

She smiles "I am Laliana of Aradonia. This is my husband, Makiel of Aradonia." she waves her hand to her husband.

Makiel glanced up as he heard his name and look around until his eyes landed on me.

He softly smiled "Hi."

I looked between the two and took in their appearance.

Laliana seemed to be of Indian descent. Her brown skin was smooth and decorated with fine jewelry and beautiful markings on her skin (there seemed to be a mix of traditional tattoos and magical markings). Her black hair flowed down her back, and was styled with a headress. She seems to be on the taller side, has a slim body shape and is wrapped in the finest fabrics. 

Makiel, I think is Australian(?). His skin is paler but still has a slight tan. From what I've gathered he speaks with a slight Australian accent and a bit of Laliana's accent. His skin was free of any markings and he is wearing a bit of jewelry. A pair of round glasses is perched on his nose. He is also wrapped in fine fabrics. He is also quite tall and a bit too muscular to be called slim.

He's so soft-spoken and she's so fierce, they're so cute!

"Well, we will do our best to help your situation. But I am quite busy right now. You haven't eaten yet, have you? Why don't you head to the kitchen with Huyana? We'll be with you momentarily." she smiled before returning to the person from before.

Huyana lead me back out "Excellent! Food before taking problems is a great start!"

Is it, cause it's a great way we procrastinate Nora mumurs
