Chapter 24

Help is here ~ Raura's souls

Riker's Pov

Everyone has been done crying. I can't believe Laura! I just can't live anymore with people like her around her. It's depressing knowing that your little brother is gone forever. I had never really hung out with him.

Riker: " Guys I'm leaving!" I tell my family.

Rydel: " I'm coming with you!"

Riker: " No Delly! Stay here!" I say as we exit the door.

Rydel eyes fill with tear: " I know what your doing! I want to join you!" She said. I just sigh and let her get in the car. We get to this canyons. She grabs my hand as we step closer to the edge.

Riker in tear: " Ready?" We get ready to jump.

Rydel: " No just yet!" She tells me. We then hear a car horn honk. We look down and there is something in the water.

Riker: " Rydel go get a rock climbing gear." She goes and grabs it. We put on the rock climbing gear.

Rydel: " Riker what are you think of?"

Riker: " I want to know if there's a car down there or not!"

Rydel: " So we are climbing down the canyon?" I nod yes. We then start climbing down. Rocks fell, making it harder to climb down. My body keep shaking. One single move and we are both brought down. I realize I want to live. Dying was scary. Rydel was climbing at the paste as I was. We get down quite quickly! The thing in the water didn't appear. I dive in the water. I saw a car! And people in it. I closed my eyes. My eyes had hurt from the water. I swam back to Rydel. She was looked at me as if to answer something.

Riker: " Rydel get the grappling hook. There's some people in a car." She just nodded and handed me the grappling hook. I dove back in the water. Opened my eyes for second. And in that second I latched the hook. I then swam back out. I signaled Rydel to pull the rope with me. We pull with all our strength. And the car comes out. I looked in it. It made me swell up with tears. Ross was in there and he was holding Laura.

Riker: " Rydel I found Ross." I suttered. She looks at me in belief, but walk over.

Rydel: " Oh my gosh." She said gasping and tears flood her eyes. She cover her mouth at the sight. I touched Ross. He was cold. He's gone!

Riker: " Rydel call someone to help." I try parting Ross and Laura. And it took awhile. I got them both of the car. Oh my. My eye couldn't see with my tears blocking them. I wiped them away. Ross had so many cuts. And things jabbed in his legs. Same for Laura. They look pale. I then saw a trail of blood come out of them. It was unbelievable moment to see them like this. Rydel came over to me. We hug each other. We fall on the ground. I stroke Rydel's hair. As we both cried. The ambulance finally came. They came in a helicopter. They checked for there pulse. The people nod no! I held Delly closer and she did to. We cried more harder. They took Ross and Laura in different jets. I let Rydel go in the one with Ross. I went in the one with Laura. It made me smile a bit. Ross would always talk about her. I'm glad Laura didn't kill him, but it doesn't make it any better to see him like this. We get to the hospital. I see Rydel and head over to her. Her were puffy. We had to go in the waiting room. By seconds I felt my heart sink. By minutes I started to think about memories. By hours I felt like they weren't going to make it.

Ross laughs: " Riker watch this!" I watch him. He throws a skittle in the air and catches it.

Riker laughs: " Impressive! Here let me throw one in your mouth." He nods ok. I throw one. He jumps and catches it in his mouth. I laugh his silliness.

I smiled a bit and then I lost it. I got more depressed. I miss him if he didn't make it.

~~{ Flashback }~~

Ross: " Laura! Stop eating our gogurt!" He tells Laura.

Laura smiles innocently: " I don't eat your gogurt!" She says while she shoving gogurt in her mouth.

Ross: "Your eating out gogurt now!" He says. Rocky and I laugh.

Laura: " Hey you know its my addiction. It's your fault for not locking your fridge." She laughs.

Ross chuckles: " No! We shouldn't have to lock out fridge."

Laura rolls her eyes playfully: " Not true."

Rocky: " We have a gogurt thief in our house." I nod with Ross.

Laura: " Shut up!" She says smiling.

I will miss Laura too. She was like another sister. And the both of them together was just so perfect. They always had each other through rough and easy times.

~~{ Flashback }~~

Laura pushed Ross playfully.

Ross laughs: " What? It's true!"

Laura: " Really?" She blushes. Ross had told her she was beautiful. And she deny it. That's why she's now blushing.

Ross: " Yeah. Why wouldn't think you are?"

Laura: " Some people at my old told me." She said looking down.

Ross lifts her chin up: " Don't let that get to your head. They are wrong. You should off blocked their comments out. I think you beautiful. Actual more than beautiful!"

Laura blushes extra hard: " Thanks Ross." She looked down again.

Ross laughs: " Laura stop looking down. I want to see your wonderful face."

Laura giggles and looks up: " That better?" She asks.

Ross smiles: " Yes." They stare at each other for awhile.

I then look up around the waiting room from crying. I wipe away my tears. I then see a doctor walk out. Hoping that was for Ross or Laura. It wasn't. And so Rydel and I waited for hours. I then hear those words.

Dr. Waver: " Anyone here for Ross Lynch and Laura Marano?" Delly and I stand up. We walk over to him.

Riker: " What's the news."

Dr. Waver sighs: " I'm afraid ........"

Here's a hint. IT'S BAD NEWS! I imagined every word I wrote.
