You woke up at about 9:00 feeling woozy yet well rested, You decided to make a bowl of cereal and shower just to get your day started. After watching whatever garbage was on T.V for about ten minutes you got bored and decided to call your best friend, Ani. It rang only once before she answered

"Hey Y/N, whats up!" she chirped in her usual cheerful voice

"uh, nothing really I'm just really bored and wanted to know if you wanted to hang out or something like, taking a walk, or playing a board game." You say giggling a bit at the fact that she was so happy this early in the morning "A walk sounds so fun and we'd get to look at all the leaves changing colors." She says. "um, okay cool I'll meet you at the park near my house in about 15 minutes." You say as you hang up and rush to get ready. After making a mess out of your closet looking for the best thing to wear you settle on a black 'Internet sensation' hoodie. Finally, you walk you of the door and briskly walk to the park to see that Ani was already on the swings. You walk up to her and smile

"I see you're having fun" You say with a wide smile. She just chuckles and looks at her shoes in response

"Can you push me please." she asks politely with a small grin. "Of course!" you respond "I'm not some kind of monster, Ani!" Her smile grows wider and you know you did something right. After pushing her a few times you join her on the swing to her left. after some casual banter and jokes you bring up a new topic "There's a railroad near here and i know you're all about the 'aesthetic' would you want to like.. walk them with me and take some cute pictures or som-" she doesn't even let you finish before letting out an excited "Yes!" and hopping off of her swing. She takes your hand and you blush at the contact of her warm soft hand against yours. After leading her to the tracks, fingers still intertwined, she breaks the silence

"Uhm, hey Y/n?" she asks nervously. You absentmindedly respond with "Yes?" she inhales a deep breath and you feel her palm begin to sweat. "i like you, a lot like.. more than just friends." she blurts out softly. you let go of her hand and turn towards her, she avoids eye contact but you can see her eyes begin to water and a singular tear fall down her cheek. "stop crying, Ani." you say with a small smile as you wipe the tear with the sleeve of your hoodie "I'm into you too." You admit softly. You both meet eyes "Really?" she says and you can tell that shes reassured by your words "How could someone not like you, You're beautiful, funny and you make me feel so much better all the time." you see her face turn a soft shade of red. You then give her a soft kiss on her forehead. she smiles, grasps your hand again and lets her head rest on your shoulder while you both keep walking on the rusty tracks.
