I'm drowning in the sorrow of
yesterday's soul,
Destroying bits and bits of my heart, raw and whole,
I listen to the voices, crying in despair,
The pieces of my heart, shattered beyond repair.
The bittersweet memories of the time gone by,
And the hardest moment was when I said goodbye,
It hurts to see all the years drift away from me,
And painful to accept the sad reality.
I've been broken by all the darkness in my head,
Was so hurt by it all, it felt like I was dead,
But as time heals, my wounds have mended into scars,
And the empty, dark skies are now filled with bright stars.
