Chapter 7

~3 weeks later~

"Did Shawn do that thing with his fingers while kissing you?" Emily asks and you chuckle.

"Yeah. Did he like bite on your bottom lip?" You ask and she nods.

"Yeah. That was good." You two laugh.

You hear a knock on your door and frown. You look over Emily and she just shrugs.

You stand up and go to the door. You open it then see is Shawn. You look at him wide open then slam the door. You run to your bedroom and jump on Emily.

"Ow!! What was that for?" She whines

"Is Shawn!!" You say and she smiles.

"Then go and answer. Maybe he wants youuu." She says faking happy. You know that this is hurting her so you just sigh.
You go and open the door.

"Are you gonna slam it again?" Shawn asks and you gulp. What are you gonna say now? What are you gonna do? What is happening?

"Uhm.. You..why? Here?..fuck" You say then sigh silently cursing yourself.

"Okay.. I think I understood that. Look I just needed to talk to you. I know we all said to wait at least 1 month but I needed to see you." He says and you sigh then shake your head.

"I can't.. Shawn you can't choose me.." you say and he frowns.

"You said you'll wait.. what changed?" He asks and you bite your lip.

"I don't know I just.. I don't know." You say and he frowns.

"Is there another guy?" He asks and you nod fastly.

"Yes yes! I mean.. uh ..sorry." you say excited because you found an excuse and he shakes his head.

"Your lying. What's the matter?" He asks.

"Shawn I just realised I don't feel the same about you... friends okay?" You say then go to close the door but he eneters before you close it.

"Yeah sure come in!" You say Sarcastically.

He takes a step closer and you take a step back and you go on like this till your back hits the door. Shawn puts his hands on the door blocking your way and you gulp.

"Uhm.. didn't your mom learn you about personal space?" You ask and he leans in. With the corner of your eye you see Emily then Shawn looks at her.

"Kiss her!!" Emily demands and Shawn kisses you. You kiss back and happily sigh against his lips before pulling away.

"I- I can't.. I can't.. She's my friend." You say and Shawn sighs but Emily groans.

"I swear to God Y/n... I'm happy for you two. I'm not sad or anything!" She says and you sigh.

"But I don't want to lose you." You say and Shawn shakes his head.

"Woah woah woah! What the fu- you two are friends now?" He asks confused.

"No. Best friends." Emily says and you chuckle.

"The thing is I can't.. okay you're his ex Em.. I can't.. " you say and she rolls her eyes.

"Look Shawn and I grew apart. In these 3 weeks I realised I'm happier without him. I'm free and not stressed out." She says then looks at Shawn "no offense though." She says and he raises his brows.

"But-"

"No buts oh my.. Shawn which one?" Emily asks. Shawn smiles looking at her.

"Y/n."
