Chapter 12 Interview

"Welcome back everyone and thank you for joining us. As promised we have Taron Egerton by video conference with us today to talk about the recent events from yesterday. Taron thank you for talking with us today" "your welcome I just wanted to tell my side of the story before it was told incorrectly" "so Taron can you tell us first who is the young woman you was protecting?" "She is my girlfriend Katie" "your girlfriend? How long have you been together?" "Two months" "so you met her while you were on your break" "yes I actually met her the day I announced I was taking a break" "wow she must be special if you just met her two months ago and you are willing to protect her" "she is special I'm not afraid to tell the world I'm in love with her. I promised her family I would protect her and I intend to keep that promise." "Taron can you tell us what happened at the party?" ". We decided I would keep her a secret for as long as I could to protect her identity so I couldn't be seen with her out in public. Katie went to the bar while I spoke with a few of my mates. When I went to check on her she was gone. I got worried so I went outside and heard her screaming. That's when I found her being attacked." "That must have been scary for you seeing her being attacked" "it was" "Taron if you don't mind me asking where is Katie from?" "I think you already have figured that out. She is from America. She is the real reason I went there." "This is story. How is she feeling?" "How about you ask her yourself she is here with me. Katie come here" I walked over to him when I sat down beside him he kissed my cheek "Ms.katie it is lovely to meet you" "very nice to meet you as well sir" "katie can you tell us your side of the story?" "Of course. This party was the first formal event I have gone to with Taron. In order to keep our relationship a secret I had to keep my distance from him. We had to have people thinking I am nothing more than a assistant. I went to the bar  to get a drink. This man was trying to speak to me and before I knew it he had a knife to my back forcing me to go outside. He knew I had a boyfriend and I was worried if I didn't go with him he would hurt Taron" Taron looked at me because I hadn't told him my attacker knew I was his girlfriend due to him reading my bracelet he had given me. "How did your attacker know you had a boyfriend?" The reporter asked "when he grabbed my wrist he saw this. I pointed to my bracelet. It has a lovely message on it and it has tarons name on it. My attacker mentioned he would ask Taron for money to release me, he said if I didn't go with him he would kill him." I noticed Taron was holding my hand a little tighter as I spoke and told my story. We finished the interview, Karen and Sharon left. Once we had the house to ourselves Taron came over to me. I laid my head on his chest.
"Katie why didn't you tell me your attacker knew who I was?" "I was scared he would kill you. I couldn't live with myself if something happened to you." "Katie you ended up getting hurt yourself. I would have rather something happen to me than to you." "Taron your more valuable than I am in this world.  No one would miss me as much as they would miss you" "I would miss you katie I need you to be by my side" "I will be as long as you will have me." He leaned over to me and got down on both knees. I didn't know what he was doing. Suddenly he pulled a small box out of his pocket.
"Katie I have something to give you." It was a beautiful pink ring. "Katie I give you this small ring as a promise. I promise to protect you, cherish you, and to love you with everything I am. I know we have not been together long but if you will have me I want you to be in my life forever. I promise one day I will give you the prober ring and proposal you deserve." I began to cry and I was speechless. "Taron I love you with everything I am. If you want me I will be yours until my last breath" he put the ring on my right hand and kissed me passionately.
My relationship with Taron has been amazing and he has been so good to me. If I'm honest to myself I still don't see how I was lucky enough to catch his eye. All I know is now in this moment with him all of my doubts, my fear of being hurt again, my fear of the judgement we will face all went away. Even though he is a movie star we are just two people. I love him and he loves me for some odd reason. I plan on making Taron happy as much as he has made me happy.
