Days passed and I slowly got used to my new life. Hayley became my best friend, which still surprises me. But I feel like I can be myself around her and even if my powers showed up, she wouldn't be scared. Mainly because she is super into supernatural stuff. I sadly never got to talk to Marinette again. Hayley told me a few thinks about her, namely that she likes Adrien too, her parents own a bakery, which supposedly sells the best macaroons ever and she seemed to be pretty popular in her class. Despite Lila's threat I kept hanging out with Jason and I developed a big crush on him. He was just so sweet, funny and handsome. The only problem was my shyness: I always got really quiet around him and didn't know what to say, but he kept the conversations going, so I think that he likes me. Lila tried to impose herself on Jason whenever she could. Today was such a day: Hayley was sick, so he saw me being alone and  started walking towards me when she just blocked the way and talked to him. It made me so angry that I went to the art room, which was always open, and sketched a bit to relax. "She is so annoying!", Asshy said while watching me draw. "True." "But at least you don't have to pretend to be a miraculous holder!" I didn't notice how a blonde boy stopped in his tracks in front of the door. "Well, about that.... I just don't know if I'm the right person for this. I mean, how am I supposed to work together with Ladybug and Chat Noir if they think I'm a villain? And I also don't know how I would be any help in general." "You are the perfect choice for me! And I'm pretty sure they already found out that you're a new hero. But having doubts is normal, it shows that you have a pure heart! Even Ladybug had doubts at first and now look at her!" "How do you know that?" "Her kwami told me." "Hey, don't you dare tell the others too much about me!", I theatended him jokingly. Suddenly we heard screaming. "What was that?" I ran out of the room to see what was going on. On the top of the roof was a weird looking girl, she didn't have any pupils or irises, she had lightning tattoos all over her skin and she wore a metal glove. She asked where a girl named Sabrina was before she noticed me staring at her. "Oh, the new girl! Don't you think it's rude to stare at somebody?" She aimed her gloved fist at me and shot lightning at me. But before it could hit me someone pushed me out of the way: Chat Noir. "Run away and hide! Quick!", he screamed at me while climbing the wall. "Stop this, Alena!" "My name is Elektra!", the girl said. Instead of hiding I transformed making sure that no one saw me.

I just arrived on the rooftop when Chat Noir got hit by Elektra's lightning. "Chat Noir! Stop this madness!" "Who are you?" She didn't seem to have expected me, so she was confused at first. I used this moment to attack her with a fireball, which she dodged. "Interesting... I didn't expect someone to be an actual threat to me!", she said, more to herself. "Thanks, I guess?" She aimed her glove at me again, but this time I was prepared: My fire shield protected me from her lightning. Elektra kept attacking me, making it harder for me to keep my position. With all my strength I threw my shield at her which turned into a wall of fire. She lost her balance and fell of the roof, grabbing the edge in the last moment. Because I didn't want her to get hurt, I pulled her up again, hoping to get her glove. But she already saw through my plan and gave me an electroshock. The pain that went through my body made me stumble back. We both didn't notice Ladybug sneaking up behind her. She quickly broke Elektra's glove and then deevilized the akuma. Exhausted I let myself sink to the ground catching my breath. "Chat Noir! Wake up!" Just then I noticed how badly Elektra has hurt him. After I went over to Ladybug kneeling over him, she apologized :" I'm sorry that we attacked you when we first saw you", she had tears in her blue eyes. "Don't worry, I can understand why you did it.... Let me try something."  Asshy once told me that I could heal the other heroes, so maybe that can help Chat. "Hero healing!", I said concentrated while touching his wound. A red light emitted from my hands and I could feel him getting better, whereas my energy got drained. "Chat! Don't ever scare me like this again!" Ladybug yelled happily while hugging him, after he woke up. "I'll try, Mylady." Because I felt a tattoo appearing on my arm, I knew I had to leave them to keep my identity safe, so I flew back home. Damon was still at work so I could safely detransform. Because I was so exhausted, I decided to rest on the couch.
"Hey, sleepyhead! How was your day?" Callan woke me up and gave me a cup of tea while having coffee himself. "(yawn) Well, Hayley is sick, without her I felt a little out of place. And when Jason wanted to talk to me, this stupid Lila kept him from doing so!" "Seems like someone has to teach her a lesson. By the way, I've heard of the girl that went crazy in your school. Did she hurt you too?", he began. I thought about what has happened and noticed that I never thanked Chat Noir for saving me. "No, one of the heroes protected me." Alena hasn't gone crazy, she got akumatized, but he wouldn't understand it anyways. "I've also heard that this happens frequently. Maybe this isn't the right place for you, I don't want to worry about you all the time", he said concerned. "What? No, this is great! I like it here and you do know that I'm able to protect myself!" "Yes, but that's what I'm so concerned about! If the people find out about your powers noone knows what they will do to you!" "We're not in the middle ages any more! If the citizens accept superheroes they'd also accept real magic!" Discussions never end well with us, because we're both extremely stubborn. So I just ended it by walking upstairs into my room without saying anything any more. I know that he only wants to keep me safe but it was the first time I wasn't an outsider in my school. And I am going to prove him that it's the right decision!
