" Oh shit " I mumbled grabbing my jacket and running out the door with the newspaper in my hand. I sped walked all the way down the block to my so called " friend "house.

" I can't believe this mother- " I ran up the steps and banged on the door " Open this damn door Daniel " .

Daniel swiftly opened the door with a confused face. " What the hell is wrong with you ? " he asked letting me in.

" Whats wrong ? What's wrong ? Oh I'll tell you what's wrong ! How could you do this to me " I yelled as I threw the newspaper at him.

" Oh shit..."

" Oh shit is right ! You not only embarrassed me but you made me lose my job ! " I started to cry. " I thought you were my friend "

" That so called job of yours wasn't doing anyone good anyway " he mumbled and sat down on his couch.

I looked at him " Excuse you ? My job was HELPING people ! Helping people like Jacob to find someone to love them !! Now Chresanto won't even talk to him ! He's a good man ! " I turned around and wiped my face .

" Oh he's a good man huh ? Just like Trevor ? Hmm " he came and got in my face.

I laughed and looked at him in disbelief. " So this is what this is about...Trevor ? "

" I seen you with him ! Negotiating a deal ! You guys aren't shit " Daniel said pointing his finger to my chest .

" TREVOR IS A DOG ! HE'S A DISGUSTING PIG AND I WILL NEVER , EVER WORK WITH SOMEONE AS LOW DOWN AS HIM ! " I calmed down a bit and continued talking. " My job is to help people like Jacob find someone to love ! It's not my fault I like to plan and prepare ! Because it's not easy to say I FUCKING LIKE YOU ! "

" I-I don't know what to say " he stumbled on.

" Dont say nothing. Maybe you should think and get your facts straight before you say shit in the paper " I walked out of his apartment not even looking at him.

I thought I could trust him. Yet he does this ? Fuck him. To think I was developing feelings for this guy ....

A week later

" Hey can you help me with my girlfriend ? She's bugging man- "

" No sorry " I walked away rolling my eyes.

All damn day I have been getting asked can I help with their problems. Can't I just enjoy my daily run without getting bothered every five mins ?

I was running until I bumped into someone and my phone dropped. " I'm so sorry " I looked up to see Daniel . " Oh it's you " I quickly picked up my phone to see if it cracked and luckily it didn't.

I was about to jog away but he grabbed me. " Jaden wait ! I seriously want to apologize "

I yanked my arm away " Apology not accepted Daniel " I began to walk away but he stopped me again. I began to grow angry.

" What do you want from me ?!? " I yelled with a scrunched up face.

" I want you ...Jaden I want you ! I now realize how good of a man you are and I need you... " I stared at him not knowing what to say.

I don't know if I should say yes or no. He basically ruined my career. Mostly broke my heart.

I looked away. I couldn't bear to look at him anymore. So I just stayed silent.

" Look I now see I was wrong and I'm sorry ! I'm so sorry I just ...maybe we can- "

" You know what ...I think it's best if we go our separate ways. It's better that way...." I jogged away as tear strolled down my face. He continues to call my name but I only ran faster

The next day

There was a knock on my door. I put my coffee on the table and walked to the door. I opened it to see a dreadful Jacob. He looked horrible. He wasn't his usual bubbly self . He was wear baggy sweatpants , a big shirt some uggs and carried a big tub of icecream.

" Aww come on Jacob don't do this to yourself " I walked back to my kitchen counter.

" I just thought if I can't get Chresanto back I'll just eat ice cream until my heart stops " sitting down on one of the islands picking with his ice cream " It's already broken " he put his face in the icecream.

" Jacob stop ! " I walked around and pulled his head up from the icecream. " I need you to understand that everything will be okay " giving him something wipe his face with.

" Okay ? Okay ? No everything will not be okay ! He won't call me , text me , come by the house anymore ! The man I've fallen in love with won't even look at me ! And you think everything will be okay ? " he chuckled and looked down and threw the cloth I have. " No you don't understand Jaden. "

" I don't understand ? Love is my job Jacob ! I see this on a daily basis so I do understand "

" Just because you see it don't mean you live it " He got up and walked up the house. Then I heard a knock on the door.

I walked to the door and opened it. " I left my icecream " he said quickly grabbing it then exiting once again out my door.

I got to fix this.
