Aria's POV
Ollie's asleep on my bed. She went into a food coma. Her little belly's full, and she fell asleep. I snuck out of our room.
I headed to the kitchen.
My mom texted me telling me she's on her way home from work. I was dying to tell her about Grayson.
She arrives home about ten minutes later.
"Hey, honey." She spoke.
"Hey, Mom. How was work?"
"Boring as usual, how was your day? And where is my chunky monkey?"
"My day was great, I met a guy." I mumbled.
"What was that, dear?" She questioned.
"I said, Olivia was asleep." I stall.
"That's not what you said." She spoke.
"I met a guy at the store Mom, and I think I like him." I gulp.
"Sweetheart, you don't know him." She states, calmly.
"Mom, I gave him my number. I'm just waiting for him to text me."
"Okay Aria, I trust you. Don't let this ruin your relationship with your daughter."
Grayson's POV
The whole drive home, all I could do was think about Aria. I want her and Ollie in my life. I wanna see that little girl with a father.
I don't want to text Aria just yet. I don't want her to think I'm desperate.
I get home and put the groceries away. With no help from Ethan, of course. He's in the living room. Perfect.
"Thanks E."
"For what?" He asks, out of pure confusion.
"For helping me with the groceries." I state, sarcastically.
"Oh." He laughs.
"E, I need to talk to you."
"Okay, but sit down. You're scaring me."
"Oh, yeah." I chuckle.
"What's up, Gray?" He asks.
"I met a girl. Her name is Aria."
"Okay? Why did you feel the need to tell me. Gray, you meet girls all the time."
"She's different." I beamed.
"What makes her different?"
"She has a baby. Her name is Olivia."
"Oh shit, Gray. Are you ready for a kid?"
"I mean are you really every ready? And besides, I want Aria."
"So you mean to tell me, you went to the grocery store, met a girl with a child, and fell in love?" He questions, giving me the weirdest look.
"Yes, I know I sound crazy."
"Grayson, I'm not going to tell you how to live your life, I trust you."
That was exactly what I wanted him to say. I know it's cheesy, but I want Ethan to support me with this.
"Dude text her and ask her out. On a date."
"Okay, Ethan."
Aria's POV
I get a text.
Grayson - Aria
Hey, it's Grayson, I was wondering if you wanted to go out on a date with me tonight?
Sure, where are we going?
Out to dinner. Dress nice. Text me your address and I'll pick you up at 7 sharp
Okay, see you then😁
It's 5 now. I need to ask Mom to watch Ollie.
"Mom?" I ask, walking into the living room seeing Mom with Olivia.
"Can you watch Olivia tonight."
"Where are you going?" She asks.
"On a date." I mumble.
"Well this is short notice."
"I know, please mom." I beg.
"Alright. You're lucky I love y'all." She grumbles.
She knows she love watching Ollie. She's just giving me a hard time.
It's 5:15, so that means I have an hour and 45 minutes to get ready.
I pick out this outfit.

I decide to go natural on the makeup. A little bit of concealer, did my brows and some mascara.
It's now 6:45. Now, I get to hang out with my monk until Grayson shows up.

This should be perfect. Now I just need to style my hair. Then I'll be all set.I don't know why I'm so nervous. I guess because I really like her.
