We got to my house and I got out of the car and went to Kenzie's door to open it
K: What are you doing?
J: You said you would stay for a while
K: Did I?
J: Yup, lets go
K: Ugh
I opened the door revealing my mother making dinner
Mer: Hi Johnny- oh hi Mackenzie
She came up to us and hugged her
K: Hi, how are you?
Mer: I'm fine, want to stay over for dinner?
K: Uh

J: She would love to
Mer: Perfect, we will be expecting guests so get dressed. Kenzie with a short casual dress and John wear jeans and a NICE shirt please, you know what? Kenz, pick out his shirt because you have a good taste.
Kenzie is always over so she has clothes in Laur's closet for all occasions

Mer: Now you 2 lovebirds go upstairs and change
K Oh, we aren't-
J: We are trying to keep it on a low profile, but we are dating
Kenz glared at me and we headed upstairs to change

Putting both of my hands on her waist and pulling her closer to me
K: Thanks, lets pick out your shirt
She got out of my grip and I groaned and flopped on my bed while she searched mhy closet
K: Ah, this will do
She handed the shirt over
J: I am not wearing that
K: You have to, your mother is waiting downstairs for us
J: I don't care, lets stay here
K: You are getting changed right now
J: What if I don't want to?
K: Then I won't ever kiss you again
J: So if I put this on you will have to kiss me in the future?
K: Maybe
J: Say yes and I will put this on
K: Fine, yes
I smiled at her and put the shirt on ad quickly gave her a peck on the lips

I shrugged and held her hand and took her downstairs

T: Hi, I am Tyler, Mer's boyfriend

The doorbell rang and my mom answered it while I talked to Kenz
K: Why would you tell your mom we are boyfriend and girlfriend?

T: I would like you to meet my sons, Ashton, Hunter, and Brandon Rowland

K: Hey

H: Yeah, Kenzie is brandon's since before mom passed away, she is like a sister to us. Adn Johnny is one of Brandon's most trusted friends
T: I thought Kenzie was Johnny's girlfriend
M: Yeah
J: Well, you see, funny story, uh- one of our friends photoshopped Brandon cheatingon Kenz so they broke up and we literally found out today that it was photoshopped so yeah, thats why they aren't dating anymore
T: That still doesn't explain why you two are dating
J: Oh, right, that. Well Kenzie and I are kind of dating because we wanted to take it slow because of Brandon
T: Oh, how sweet of you. Lets eat!
My mom served the food and all I could feel were Brandon's glares at me
K: May I be excused
M: Sure honey
She got up and went upstairs
J: I'll go upstairs to accompany her
My mom nodded and continued her dinner
I got up and went downstairs and found Kenz sitting on my bed
J: Hey
I sat next to her and I tear rolled down her cheek
J: Whats wrong?
K: Nothing
J: Hey, look at me and tell me what is going on
K: This feels wrong
J: What does?
K: This, you and I
J: Why?
K: I feel like I am not being honest with myself because we aren't really dating, but we are and I don't like that
J: Then I have a solution
K: What?
J: Will you be my girlfriend?
She looked up at me and kissed me
J: Is that a yes?
She nodded and smiled
We kissed again and then my door got opened
We broke the kiss and looked at the door which revealed a sad, broken, Brandon.
