Chapter Two: How Could This Even Happen?

" This dude has been typing in his computer for hours now " , Rachel said while looking at the doctor that was treating Edens wounded ankle.

" Yeah, Mr. Searan does tend to work nonstop for hours. So sometimes I'll have to check up on him and give him a lecture about how working too hard could destroy both his mind and his body ", the doctor responded while bandaging Edens ankle.

" He's even got a private doctor working for him but he cant even give us some fucking cheese to eat with our bread. " , Rachel muttered angrily.

" That's nasty as well, to be honest. ", Eden said while flinching in pain.

" Is it still painful? ", the doctor asked her.

" Of course, it is! My fucking life flashed before my eyes when that bastard pushed me! ", Eden growled.

" Mr. Searan is usually violent. Just the other day, he shot a security guard in the chest just because he fell asleep for five minutes during his shift. ", the doctor sighed.

" Well, ain't that great? We're being held hostage by a fucking psycho ", Rachel muttered to herself while glaring at the door.

" Ouch! How could he be heartless enough to not even check up on me when he saw me half dead on the floor because of what he did to my ankle? ", Eden grumbled and then flinched in pain once again as the doctor let go of her bandaged ankle. 

" Well, this is all that I can do for now. I hope you get better. ", the doctor told her as he stood up and started walking towards the door.

" Sir, are you sure that you can't help us get out of here? You could just call the police, he wont ever figure out that it was you who helped us, besides he wouldn't even be able to do a thing even if he knew. He'd be in jail, paying for his crimes. ", Rachel begged.

" You're underestimating  him. ", the doctor said casually as he opened the door and walked out, the security guard that had been watching over their room after the girls earlier fight with Saeran glanced at the them before locking the door behind the doctor.

" Ugh! I hate this! ", Eden yelled frustrated.

" Yeah, and I so love it. ", Rachel said sarcastically.

" Rachel, I'm being serious! We need to get out of this pit and get back! We never know what this crazy bastard might do to us next. ", Eden said while shuddering at the thoughts of having to deal with Saeran again.

With Saeran

" How is she doing? ", Saeran muttered while still having his eyes glued to the screen of his computer.

" All of her bones were still in place. She was lucky. But it'll take a while until she can start walking like she did before. ", the doctor told him.

" Well, that's not so bad. That just lowers the chances of her being able to escape. ", Saeran grinned.

" What about the other girl? ", the doctor asked him.

" Huh? ", Saeran finally looked up from his computer and glanced at the doctor.

" What about her? " , he asked him.

" You know, the one named Rachel? She was begging me to call the police. "

" HAHAHAHAHA! SHE THOUGHT THAT SOME GUYS IN BLUE UNIFORMS COULD STOP ME? ", Saeran laughed out loud.

" She seems smart, if you ask me. ", the doctor responded. Saeran shot the doctor a glare.

" Well, I didn't ask you. Now get out of here. I need to finish this. ", Saeran growled as he gave the doctor a last glare. He then returned his gaze towards his computer and started typing in different types of codes.
