Letter Two

Dearest Liam,                                                                                                               September 7, 2016

I've never received a letter like yours before, it was great.  No I don't think you sound like a creep, I think it's kind of cool that your job allows you to do projects like this.  And it's your lucky day because I like to meet new people too.

My name is Alice, just Alice.  I am twenty-one years old, my birthday was four months ago actually.  I live in the United States of America and where I live is quite boring.  I hate it, to be honest.  There is not much to do, I live a small town where everyone knows everyone and everything about each other.  It gets annoying after awhile.  I haven't been in this small town for long though, I moved here around six years ago when I was fifteen.  I don't want to get into details right away, maybe for another letter?

I have brown wavy hair that I just cut short.  I wanted something new, ya know.  It used to be down past my shoulders but it was hard to tame.  I didn't know what to do with it any more, I've tried every style.  Has that ever happened to you?  Wait, you're a guy so that probably hasn't happened to you.  Unless you are gay.  Which is totally fine, cause I've always wanted a gay best friend that I could travel the world.  Now that just sounds creepy, I'm sorry.

What is your last name if you don't mind me asking, you have me wondering.  You sound like someone I know of.  I can't really put it together, but it's okay.  I won't pry if you don't want me to know.  I respect your privacy if you respect mine, deal?

I've never been to England, I wish.  It is like my dream to go to London, you are really lucky to be living there.  I would ride to the top of the London Eye and kiss the boy of my dreams.  But first I need to find a boy of my dreams, maybe I should use your dance move on them.  Thank you for letting me know your secret of how to get the ladies or in my case boys.

I can't sing for my life, even though everyone tells me I have a voice of an angel.  I don't really get it, I don't know if they are being sarcastic, or they are trying to be nice.  Or they are really being serious.  I'm not good at deciphering people.  I mean I am very good at reading peoples emotions, but I'm really insecure about things and I feel like everyone is judging me.  Is that a bad thing?

I play the violin and the piano.  How long have you been playing?  I have been playing piano for twelve years and the violin for seven.  I'm not a big turtle fan though, sorry to tell you that.  But that's also another story I don't want to talk about. My favorite animal is a koala bear, they are so cute!  I finally was able to hold one the other week.  They have the longest claws I've ever seen though, but I held a baby one, so I didn't get hurt.

So I'm guessing you have the biggest celebrity crush on Leona Lewis?  She's really pretty, I can see why.  She is also an amazing, I wish I was her.  I actullt kind of look like her in a way, with my hair and eyes.  My celebrity crush has to definately be, Tom Daley.  I know you are probably like, why him?  I don't know though, but  have you seen his body?

Anyways, my foster sister came into my room now and asked me to play with her.  So I will have to get going, I can't wait to read you letter.

Yours Truly,

Alice!

P.S. I like Toy Story but I never saw the third one.

P.S.S. Do all British people put the 'x' after their name, like kiss?

P.S.S.S Sorry for all of these but my sister wants to know if you know who "One Direction" is.  She says it is the and I quote, "The most amazingliest boy band."  She's only eight.  She also said that Liam was her favorite.  I thought it was pretty funny that your name was Liam too.  Small world isn't it.  Well okay bye!

*Liam's Point of View*

I read and re-read the letter over and over again.   I was surprised to have a letter written back to me so soon.  None of the other boys received any letters, so I guess they can call my letter a success?  I hope so, and I can't wait to start writing when I get back to my flat.  Don't get me wrong, I thought this whole letter thing was stupid and a waste of time.  But now experiencing it, this is amazing.  Alice, what a beautiful name. "Liam, why are you smiling at that letter like you just won the pot of gold."  Niall's voice rang out snapping me from my peaceful thoughts.

"It's.. It's nothing."  I lied folding the paper neatly, putting it away.  The boys dropped it, not focusing what I was doing like always.  It's been like this for a while now, I feel like they are catching on to my.. my issues.  I just hope that Alice can save me before it's to late.  I have a feeling that this will be a great start to a new friendship.

Hai guys. Sorry for such a short chapter, but I just wanted to post this to see if everyone is still interested in my writing.  I feel like I should just give up writing.  Maybe give this account away.  I don't know yet.  Any suggestions.  Please read my other story too if you haven't already.  I should be updating that soon.  Okay bye!
