Two months, two weeks, and four days; such a short time until I will be a mother. I just keep replaying all Niall said to me inside my head. Everything I had heard, everything the boys had told me, it was all true. Niall was in love with me, and I with him. Obviously, something was holding me back. Niall had apologized to me on several occasions. The past just kept recurring through my mind and clouded my thoughts; the deed done almost two years ago was back to haunt me.
Flashback (Third person telling)
"Niall, we can't do this!" Rhiannon squealed as her blond best friend kissed her jawline. Recieving no reaction from the girl, Niall stopped kissing her and lay beside her on the large bed. He grabbed Rhiannon's hand and stroked it before bringing it up to his mouth and gently pressing his lips to her knuckles. She giggled slightly at his touch and cuddled up to Niall, who immediately wrapped his arms around her.
"What happens if Liam finds out?" Rhiannon whispered, her voice full of fear and guilt. She was well aware that this act could break Liam, but deep down Rhiannon had deeper feelings for Niall. Not that she'd ever admit her feelings to Niall, of course.
Niall, in the same way, had deep feelings for his best friend's girlfriend. Even if Rhiannon and Liam weren't together, Niall would probably never voice his feelings. Instead, he let out his emotions through song writing, singing, and guitar playing. The other lads really didn't need to know where the inspiration for More Than This came from.
Rhiannon didn't really consider her actions as cheating; the most she had done with Niall was kiss him (sometimes shirtless) , although they had cuddled plently of times. Her love for Niall was more unconcious, but slowly bubbling to the surface; but Liam was such a huge part of her life. As Rhiannon lay next to Niall, she absentmindedly ran a hand up and down his bare chest. In the same mind state, Niall stroked Rhiannon's arm. He carefully avoided the new bruise that was forming; caused by Rhiannon and Louis's rough nature. Their wrestling matches and frequent (fake) heated arguements went too far this time.
The pair broke apart as they heard a door slam shut. Liam's voice filled the small apartment and Niall quickly leapt off the bed. He quickly put his shirt back on, along with his favorite snapback, which he rarely took off.
At the same time, Rhiannon adjusted her shirt and turned on the television. She crawled to one end of the king sized bed, and Niall sat on the other. It wouldn't be an uncommon sight for the two best friends to be lying in the same bed. In fact, people, including Liam, would be surprised if they weren't close.
Perfect timing again, Rhiannon thought as her boyfriendcame in the room and greeted her with a kiss. She had always felt sparks when Liam kissed her, but for some reason they just weren't as intense as with Niall
