Chapter 4

Jimin and I stopped swaying as a voice suddenly erupted the peace.

"I can't believe you!" Mina shouted rather dramatically. Jungkook sighed, looking completely done with the girl standing in front of him.

"Mina, calm down." Mina did just the opposite. The sound of a loud smack echoed through the ears of those nearby. She stormed off immediately after, leaving jungkook in shock.

"Excuse me, Jimin.." I trailed off and stepped away from Jimin. I wrapped my hand around jungkooks wrist as securely as I could so that he couldn't protest. To my surprise, he didn't. I gingerly dragged the male by my side to the music room down the hall and closed the door behind us. "Look jungkook, I know that we're not close or anything but is everything okay..? I just brought you here in case you wanted to talk about it."

"Yeah.. I just.." he looked solemnly at the marble floors beneath his feet. "I told Mina that I wanted to take a break and she didn't handle it very well I suppose." I rubbed his back soothingly, trying my best to comfort the man in front of me.

I glanced at the grand piano behind us, hoping to take his man off of the subject. "Do you play piano by any chance?" Jungkook smiled lightly, noticing how I was trying to distract him from any heart ache.

"Yeah, I play a bit. Wanna hear?" He asked. I nodded my head and before I knew it, jungkook's hands were on my waist as my feet left the ground. He softly placed me on top of the black, slick piano. I rubbed my fingertips across the smooth surface beneath me. Jungkook took a seat in front of the piano, his fingers lingering amongst the white keys. He began pressing down on them as a beautiful sound came from the large instrument. I was taken aback. I closed my eyes as a smile crept upon my face while listening to the notes that filled my ears. By the time he finished the song, I was astonished.

"Wow..." I said breathlessly. I heard jungkook chuckle.

"Thanks." He said bluntly.

"What for?" I asked genuinely, looking over at him.

"For making me feel better."
