I strolled through the isles of the art store, inhaling the smell of cardstock and fresh paints. The art store was much bigger than I expected. I strolled down the isle where the sketchbooks were placed. After glancing over them briefly, I grabbed the medium sized sketchbook that had "mix media" on it. These were my favorite, so that I could decide what media to use as I go. My hand brushed along the smooth cover as I smiled lightly. I turned the corner and grabbed a pack of pencils, some water color, and some acrylic supplies. These were the media's I enjoyed the most. I strolled along to the counter and paid for my things. As I walked out of the store the smell turned from paint and cardstock to something a little more fresh. I hummed to myself and made it back to my dorm room. I unlocked the door and slipped off my shoes, feeling the cold floor through my socks. Jungkook was sitting on the couch as he turned his head and looked at me. He quickly opened his mouth to speak, "(Y/N), can we talk really quick?" I nodded in response and sat next to him on the couch. "Listen, about what you heard in the hallway earlier-"
I interrupted him mid sentence.

"Don't worry about it," I smiled. "I understand, if I had a boyfriend I wouldn't enjoy him living with a strange girl either." I truly did feel this way. Jungkook sighed in relief at my response.

"Mina truly didn't mean any harm- she just gets insecure easily. Thanks for not being upset about the situation." I nodded and stood from the couch, making way to my room once again to lock myself away. I placed the bag of art supplies on my desk, releasing the plastic bag from my grip. My phone suddenly buzzed, a reminder flashing on the home screen. It was a reminder for the orientation tonight. It was really more of a semi-formal social event than an orientation. I smiled, excited to meet a few new people tonight. I rushed over and examined my closet for something nice to wear. I settled on a short black dress, the dress hugged my waist and had gorgeous lace sleeves. I clothed myself, feeling the smoothness of the fabric against my skin. I slipped on some plain black heels and accessorized with some silver earrings. I clueless my hair and applied light makeup to my skin. I took a final glance in the mirror. Good enough, I shrugged. I stepped out of my room, hearing my heels click on the wooden floors. At the same moment, jungkook also stepped out of his room, also dressed up.

"You going to the gathering too?" I asked.

"Yep, I'm supposed to meet Mina there."

"Wanna walk together?" I asked and jungkook replied with a nod. We made way out of the dorm and walked down the halls, oddly in silence. Suddenly, I felt an arm draped over my shoulders. I jumped a bit, shocked. I look up to see a handsome male, his other arm around jungkook.

"Hey, jungkook~ I haven't seen you at all today!" The man said to jungkook before looking to me. "Who's this?"

Jungkook rolled his eyes jokingly. "This is my roommate, (Y/N)."

"Nice to meet you, (Y/N). My name is Park Jimin," he said to me, a smile in his eyes.

"Nice to meet you too," I smiled back at him. He seems interesting.

"So," Jimin began, "heading to the orientation thingy too?" Jungkook and I both nodded, and before we knew, we were in the grand hall. There were musicians and crowds of people wearing their best clothing, dancing and socializing. I smiled to myself, enjoying the scenery before me. Quickly enough, Mina, jungkooks girlfriend, came rushing over. Jungkook smiled and hugged her before the two of them went their separate ways. Jimin looked at me. "Since its just us now, would you like to dance with me?" A sly smirk plastered on his face, making me giggle at the expression he wore. I nodded my head when he gingerly took my hand into his.

He lead me over to the center of the room, and gently placed his hands on my waist as I placed mine on his shoulders. The musicians played a slow song, one that put butterflies in my stomach as Jimin and I softly swayed to the gentle rhythm. "So tell me about yourself," said Jimin.

"There's not much to tell, in all honesty. I like art and music I guess. My past is a bit of a sensitive subject, so I won't get into it much. I enjoy cheesy jokes. I don't seem like it, but I really enjoy parties-" he suddenly cut me off.

"Really?!" He exclaimed. "I know of a party tomorrow night, you should come with me!"

"Are you sure?" I asked him and he nodded eagerly. "Fine, id love to come." As I finished my sentence, jungkook and Mina walked onto the dance floor next to us and began dancing as well. I caught Mina giving me a side glare, which made me pretty uncomfortable. Why doesn't she like me? I was too focused on Mina to realize that Jimin and I had gotten closer than we were before. After realizing, I blushed to myself and looked up to notice him blushing too. I know we don't really know each other, but I took advantage of the opportunity and laid my head on his shoulder as we continued to sway to the music. Suddenly, jungkook became the one giving Jimin and I the side glare.
