Jessica entered Toni's and waved to Toni, smiling as she went to her and Melanie's regular seat. She sat down and waited for Melanie. She played games on her phone and then Melanie came in and ran over to her. Before Jess can even say hi, Mel started to speak. "You will not believe what happened after you left!!!". Mel squeaked out and Jess shook her head.

"Hello to you too Jess." Jess said and Mel shushed her. "Anyway, Michael came up to me and asked me out!." She squealed and Jess eyes widen. "A date? Why?!". She said without thinking and Mel sent her a look. "I mean, why not .. when is it?". She asked and Melanie giggled. "Tomorrow." She smiled. Jess nodded and tried to pay attention.

Melanie started to talk about how she didn't even think he will even notice her, then gushed about how sweet he was last night, and how he offered to give her a ride home. "I so wished I didn't bring the car then, but of course I did so I declined and then he asked me out!." She smiled dreamily. "I swear it was like a scene out of a movie.".

Jess nodded. It certainly sounded as odd as a scene out of a movie. "Don't go thinking your relationship be like fifty shades of grey.". Jess teased. Mel bite her lip and smirked. "I was thinking more Titanic but that works.". She said and both of them laughed. Toni's wife came by with their regulars and gave it to the girls, talking to them about school which Jess was happy to talk about. Anything to get the subject off that stalking creep. Soon she left and the girls just talked about clubs, and the latest school gossip.

The girls was about to leave when a familiar person came in. Jess mouth dropped open and Mel looked at her concerned. "What is it?". Mel asked and she looked to where Jess was staring to see Michael with another girl, holding her close to him. Mel frowned and Jess shook her head. "She can be just a friend." Jess said as the pair sat down. Then Michael kissed the girl and Mel laughed bitterly. "Yeah, a friend." Mel said plainly and looked back at Jess. "Let's just go." She said as she got up, took her purse, and started to leave.

Jess was about to go, but thought of something else. She got her drinks, went over to Michael. Then she poured her drink over him and he looked at her surprised. "That's what you get for leading on my best friend, asshole. All cause you wanted to sleep with her." She said and turned, paying for her food and took Melanie, both of them leaving to is, and a shocked and confused Michael, behind.
