Jess woke up to a blarring ring sound to see it was coming from her alarm clock. She reached over groggily and turned it off. Then she sat up and stretched, looking around her room. She noticed her shoes from last night, carelessly thrown in the corner of her room, along with her dress on her floor. She rubbed her head as she remembered last night's events.
Flash back
Jessica walked outside, after the hundredth time being eye raped... Well more like eye stalked by Michael. She went to the little bonefire outside as her best friend was making out with a random high college senior. She tapped Melanie shoulder as Mel pulled away and looked at Jessica. "What, don't you see I'm busy?". Melanie questioned as the guy went to kiss her neck. Jessica groaned. "I want to go home, so get your little ass up and take me home." Jess demanded and Mel rolled her eyes.
"No thank you, I'm tryna take a guy home tonight, not go home alone. Get someone else to give you a ride." Mel said then she went back to kissing the guy. Jess rolled her eyes and looked to the house to see Michael watching her from the deck. Her blood boiled as she seethed at him and made her way around the house, calling a Uber to come pick her up instead.
Flashback over.
Jess sighed, she knew she had a right to be mad at Melanie, but she should at least text her to see if she made it home. She got her phone and sent a quick text to Melanie. Then she got up and went to get ready for the day. After she was done she went back to her nightstand and grabbed her phone to see a text from Melanie.
Melon: I'm fine, just hungover and almost had a scare from almost being caught with a guy in my bed. How about we meet at Toni's and talk about last night. Btw I'm so sorry for ditchin you babes, please forgive me.
Jessica sighed and shook her head. Yep, Mel made a mistake... But she is only human, and her best friend, so of course she forgave her. She texted her a of course and went to get her keys and jacket. She slipped on her jacket as she remembered how Michael suddenly got upset with her last night... She felt remorse again, hoping she didn't say anything to offend him, but put it out of her mind. She can't stress over it now, besides, she will never see him again. She took her keys and left the house, getting in her car and heading to Toni's.
