"Do you do any sports?" Luke asks.
"Um no, but does rushing around and taking care of about ten kids, not including myself?" I say with sarcasm.
"Yes, yes it does. I need you to take it easy for a bit." I nod my head, fully knowing that that was going to be impossible. "Other than the concussion your eyes are perfect, let me check your ears."
After he checks my ears. He steps back and Calum takes his place. "Okay pretty girl, I'm gonna give you a psych evaluation, to make sure that your mental state is where it should be."
"I'm pretty sure you're going to find a lot of things wrong with me that you guys wouldn't find in normal girls my age." He gives me a strange look, "I had to mature a lot faster and became a "mom" to several children while going to school making sure I have appropriate grades to get into a good school to get a good job to take care of everyone." He gives me a sad smile, then smirks and rolls his eyes.
"Just take the questionnaire, Pretty girl" he hands me a clipboard that has a sheet of paper. I start filling it out to the best of my ability. It's the sheet of paper that you usually get when you go into a doctor's office for a physical, to make sure your mental state is okay. I got this once before when I was thirteen, the last time I went to a doctor's off because of budget cuts the younger kids were more important. That was my and Mitchell's last doctor's appointment for three years.
Do you take drugs? Yes/No: No
Do you drink alcohol? Yes/No: No
And that is how it went, for the most part, I answer yes for a few, or I wrote I don't know for the short answers. It was dead silent for about three minutes, which I am thankful for, all that could be heard was the pen scratching against the paper. I sign the bottom and hand it back to Calum for him to look over. He smiled at me and took it over to the counter where he could skim over it while the others start the physical.
Ashton puts his stethoscope earpieces in and starts to check my lungs and heart. He smiles at me and goes over to the chart.
"Everything sounds good, but as Luke said, you need to take it easy for a bit while you heal." He was while passing the chart over to Micheal.
"Okay, honey, I'm just going to check your spine and reflexes, and then we'll move on from there, okay?" He says while picking up the Trömner (A/N: the tiny hammer they use to test reflexes) from his coat pocket. He gently put his thumb over my left knee first and then moved onto my other appendages. He nods and jots down what he learned.
"Okay pretty girl," Calum started "you are overdue for three shots, Tetanus, HepA, and HepB, they should be over fairly quickly, it just depends on how you cooperate with us. We'll take as long as you need, we are going to go at your pace, and I know that three is a lot but this will help you in the long run, okay?" I nod slowly, I didn't really want to do this and I thought that I was hiding my fear well, but he was just that good and could see right through my walls.
"Okay, let's just get this over with," I say while stretching my arms, trying to mentally prepare myself for the sharp pointy thing that they're going to be sticking in me in a moment.
"Do you want us to do it all at once or one at a time?" questioned Ashton
"All at once please, the sooner it's done the better," I say with a humorless chuckle.
Hey, sorry I just thought I should update. I know it's kind of short but I felt like that was a good place to leave.
