Ugh! I don't want to get up. I slept at 12:00 last night (ummmm...not night morning 😉) and I'm soo tired. But I have to get up because a doctor's job never ends! I thought to snooze my alarm but my brother came and took it away from me. Yay me! Now I 100% have to get up.
" I hate you KIRIN" I scream. He said, "I love you Rupi" and pulled me up. "We gotta get to work. Today we'll work only half a day because we worked late yesterday. You can come home and sleep" he informed me. "OK fine" I replied. The door bell rang and my brother and I rushed to get it. I opened the door and it was Mrs.Wang. She is the sweetest women ever and has helped me and Kirin a lot. Her face was always bright and cheerful. "Good morning Mrs.Wang" I wished her. "Good morning Ruhi....I want to invite you and Kirin to my house tomorrow for Chinese New year" she said. Mrs.Wang's family is Chinese and they moved to South Korea due to Mr.Wang's job. They invited us last year also for Chinese New year. "We would be delighted to come" said Kirin from behind. I agreed with him and Mrs.Wang left happily saying thank you. (Since I'm a doctor I gotta wear formal clothing!) We left to the hospital and started treating patients. Dr.Jaebum, my boss came and congratulated me on the successful surgery yesterday. I smiled and said thank you to him. He also told me that I could leave early today because I worked really late last night. He was very kind and always caring. He always respected me and maintained a formal relationship with me even though he is only a year older than me. "Hey Ruhi wanna go out tomorrow?" Dr.Jaebum asked me. Shocked at the question I replied saying,"I'm sorry doctor...I can't I'm busy tomorrow...because tomorrow's Chinese New year." "Oh...I almost forgot😅...but you don't celebrate Chinese New year" he said. I inform him "No a neighbor called me to celebrate it with her tomorrow." "Oh ok...well see you tomorrow..bye". He walked away quietly. "Bye doctor...maybe we can go out some other time?"I said to make him happy. He smiled and nodded a yes. Dr.Jaebum's pov: Ruhi is a really pretty girl and today I asked her something unexpecting and she replied what I expected. I always maintain a distance from her and respect her. She really doesn't like men but she's nice to me. I was hoping she would say yes but....ugh! Maybe some other time. Everytime I see her I get butterflies in my stomach. Her eyes are the most beautiful. They are a unique shade of brown. I'm getting distracted again with her... I better call Jackson because tomorrow's Chinese New year. He is my college friend and we are very close. We spend the new year together every year. I call him: Jb: "Hey Jackson! How are you man?" J: "I'm good man.You?" Jb:"I'm fine.When are you coming to Seoul...we gotta spend the new year together" J:"I was just about to call you myself...I'm actually in Seoul at my sister's house. We are gonna spend the new year together. You also come, my sister would love that." Jb:"Yeah that sounds cool....bye!" J:"Bye!"
Ruhi's pov: I finished my work and I checked the clock. It showed 1:00p.m. It meant I could have lunch and go home and sleep. Yay!!! I called my brother he said he had some work to do and informed me that he will meet up with me after an hour. I said bye to Dr.Jaebum. He said bye to me and asked me,"Did you have lunch yet?" "No not yet...I'm going to have. Do you wanna come doctor so we can go together" I asked him. "Yea sure...why not?" He replied. We both walked together to the restaurant nearby. It was a small one but I loved it. So did Dr.Jaebum. We sat at a table near the window and ordered our food. The view of the street was very pleasing.
