"Cheers!"Everyone looks so happy. Everyone is happily celebrating except for one person who is currently just standing at the corner, watching the people to have fun on their own and watching his ex-lover being happily married to another man.
It should be him.
It should be him who is on that man spot right now but the world is too cruel to let him have a happy ending that easy.
It felt like the world turned upside down and he just wakes up with the reality that his girlfriend is marrying another man.
It hurts.
It hurts so bad.
Witnessing his ex-lover got married to another man hurts like hell.
She even had the nerve to invite him.
It feels like someone just poured a full one bottle of alcohol to his wounds.
It will heal soon but the scar will remain there.
The man took one-shot of vodka, drinking it in one gulp. He wiped his lips with the back of his palm afterward before walking out.
His friend accompanied him here but he left him. He knows that his friend must be looking at him right now but he's too drunk to care.
He doesn't know where he is going and he just let feet to bring himself to somewhere.
And then, he just finds himself at the rooftop of the building.
The blow of the wind is the first thing that greeted him when he stopped at the rooftop.
Kai looked around and he saw nothing but darkness.
It's quiet there, and the only thing he can hear is the sound of the wind blowing.
He walked towards the railings of the rooftop, he placed his arms there as he faced the beautiful skyline of the city.
Kai looked up to see the stars shining beautifully at the sky while feeling the wind blowing against his skin.
He closed his eyes. It feels so nice and relaxing and for once, he forgot his problems.
Not until, he heard a faint cry.
He opened his eyes as he looked around, searching if someone is around.
"Is someone there?" He asked, brows furrowed.
It was dark and he can't see anything. The light of the moon is the only source of light that he has because his phone is not with him, he left it with his friend.
He tried to follow the sound it. The faint cry starting to get clearer every step he took, a sign he's not alone in the rooftop and someone is with him in the rooftop.
And there, he saw a woman crying. He left a distance between them.
Sitting at the floor, head lowered while hugging her knees.
