Down the roads of Mount Taikan, the sound of 2 monstrous machines could be heard roaring down the mountain. Soon a Bayside Blue R34 GTR shoot out of a right hairpin sideways with a Silver Mercedes Benz hot on its hail, both racers have reached the half way point of the mountain and only have a few more corners before reaching the bottom of the mountain.

JL: Damn it, Louis and his strategic mind never fails to impress me. When he said he studied about this course, it literally feels like he studied every inch of this mountain.

Louis: JL's driver's instinct and specialty in drifting never ceases to amaze me. Despite not racing on this course as much as a pro, his instinct and natural habit of drifting helped him reach near professional levels of racing. That's why i chose to race against you, it's best to try my new "trick" on the best drifter on our team.

Soon both racers reached a sharp right hairpin turn, most racers would normally drift through the corner but Louis was aiming for something else. The open grass patch on the outside of the corner! When both cars were about to reach the corner, the Mercedes braked a few seconds after the GTR, Gunning straight for the patch and allowing it to enter the corner at a much faster speed. The Mercedes threw its tires into the grass and drifted around the GTR.

JL: "Holy shit!"

The Blue haired Malaysian was shocked to see the Mercedes overtaking it from the outside. In a desperate attempt to stop Louis, JL tried to shift to the outside to cut him off but he was too late and the AMG had overtaken the GTR. This was his plan, are you kidding me! JL was still dumbfounded by what he saw.

"You're smart Louis, I'll give you that but I ain't gonna give up yet." JL motivated himself before up shifting to 4th gear and  chasing after the AMG.

Soon both racers were about to reach the end point of the mountain, the toll booth. There were only a few corners left before the reach the end of the race but JL came up with a plan.

JL: "I may not be the smartest racer on the team, but since Louis is a strategic and textbook racer I can guess what he is gonna do next."

The pair reached the last corner was a 90 degree right turn.

"He is gonna take the inside line, so..." The GTR suddenly gunned for the outside lane.

"... I'll go outside instead!"

Once the Mercedes began to start drifting through the corner, Louis saw something in his left side mirror...

"What the heck?" Louis exclaimed seeing the Bayside Blue R34 overtaking him from the outside, similarly to what he had done before. The GTR shoot out of the corner and overtook the AMG, securing JL the victory as he made a beeline down the straight away to the toll booth.

"Hell Yeah!" The blue haired Malaysian roared with satisfaction as the his fist over his head.

Once both cars reached the toll booth, both drivers got out of their cars. "As expected, you never stop amazing me as how good you are at drifting." Louis complimented JL. "Hehehe, well that's to be expected of me..." The GTR driver replied with pride and arrogance. "... but still, that little stunt you pulled at that corner. Was that part of your plan?" JL questioned Louis. "Yeah, that trick was to act as a counter to overtake my opponent and to shorten my race time. But it seems that it wasn't enough to beat you."

"Nah, that's was one hell of a move you pulled off. Nice one" JL Complemented Louis back and hold out his fist. Only for Louis to respond with a fist bump and saying "Let's head back up." before the 2 friends drove back up Mount Taikan.

Sup, I'm not dead haha🤣. But on a serious note, With my finals reaching the end I'm back and ready to write again. My skills might be a bit rusty but I hope u all liked this short lil chapter. Debuting my return to Wattpad.
