Chapter 13

Chris had stayed the night, but I couldn't sleep so I got up and walked out to the kitchen.

After almost killing myself by tripping over the dog laying in the middle of the pitch black hall way. I made it to the kitchen and made myself some tea.

I sat down at the counter and sighed. I have been sleeping well lately and I think it's starting to catch up to me.

"What are you doing out here?" Ashton's sleep filled voice said from behind me.

"Couldn't sleep, how about you?" I asked back taking a sip of the warm tea.

"I couldn't either." I nodded as he made himself some tea than joined me at the counter. "Hey I'm sorry about the dog."

"It's okay. I mean I still want to kill you, but it's okay." I said looking over at him.

"Are you a Chris a thing? Sorry if that was blunt, but you were acting weird at dinner around him." He said catching me by surprise.

"Um, we'll I mean he asked me out yesterday and I said yes." I said looking away from him.

I seen his head move in a nodding motion out of the corner if my eye, "Well if he hurts you I'll grind his dick and face in to a brick wall."

I laughed and smiled at him. I missed my brother while he was away, he was the only family apart from Serenity and Dove I had.

"I'm glad your home." I said and he smiled at me.

"I'm glad I'm home too."

After we finished our tea we went back to our rooms, I climbed into my bed next to Chris and he turned over in his sleep putting an arm around me.

We were a weird couple, Chris and I. It like one of those as love stories when the bully falls for the bullied.

I closed my eyes trying not to think to much on the matter. I fell asleep soon after that thought.

I woke up to my alarm this time and Chris was already up, dressed and was on his phone on Facebook it looked like.

I don't think he noticed I was awake so I snuck a peak at what he was typing in the status bar.

'I have a little secret and he's the best thing in the world ;)'

I felt my stomach erupt in butterflies as I knew he was talking about me.

"I know your awake Jamie." His voice came making me jump a little and looking up at him shyly.

"One second." I said as he went to say something. I turned around and took my phone off the floor and logged into the Facebook app.

I typed in Chris's name and scrolled down to the status he just made and liked it.

I heard him scoff as he got the notification.

"Your a bugger." He said as I turned back around and smiled gooflie at him.

I got up without another word and walked to my closet taking out a purple shirt and black skinny jeans.

I went to my bathroom and got dressed and walked back to my room.

I threw on a purple beanie, to lazy to actually do my hair.

"I'm hungry." I said.

"Than let's eat." He said getting up and taking my hand pulling me out my door and down to the kitchen.

We sat at the counter as my brother was making food. Smelt like bacon.

"Good-morning sunshines." He said as he got out two more plates.

"Mmfgg." I said.

"I can't understand caveman Jamie, use your big boy words." Ashton said laughing when I glared at him.

"That was caveman for give me food before I kick you were the sun don't shine." I said laying my head on the counter.

I wasn't tired until I came downstairs. It's happens every morning.

A plate of bacon and eggs were sat in front me of and Ashton didn't even have time to take his hand away before I was digging in to it.

"Careful I sort of need my fingers." He said as he slid a plate to Chris and I shrugged continuing eating.

After we Finished eating we got our bags and made our way to Chris' car. Than made our way onto the road to school.

We went inside and made our way to our lockers. Approaching mine I noticed Jesus and his gang standing by it. They spotted us and glared daggers. Not just at me, but at Chris too.

A few people noticed and looked over towards us waiting to see if anything would happen.

"Chris what the hell is wrong with you?" Jesus said generally angry.

"Last time I checked I'm fucking perfect." I rolled my eyes and stood waiting for them to move so I could get to my locker.

"We seen your status an we know it's about that faggot." Jesus said pointing at me.

Everyone in the hallway stared at me and I froze up.
