Because of Lisa's inevitable charisma skills, my mom took back her word. 

I'm not grounded anymore. Yay! Well, who would want to be grounded in the first day of school in senior year? Oh no, definitely not me. 

As soon as mom closed the door, I hugged Lisa tightly and thank her for her very nice move. I'm so lucky to have her as my best friend. Even though sometimes, we have misunderstandings and dramas.... I don't even want to talk about it.  

Anyway, when we let go from the tight hug we had, Lisa jumped quickly on my comfy bed and giggled.  

She love how soft my bed is, that's why I'm not a morning person, I love my bed and I can spend the whole day resting my whole body on it. It's just plain heaven. That's why I came up with a word 'PL moment' which means peace, loving moment - the moment I do every after school. It's kind of a ritual, really. 

I joined her and rested my body likewise on my bed. I felt peace... and it felt like I'm resting my whole body in a big cloud. It's just wonderful. 

"I can't believe Jen and Jed are coming back." Lisa whispered. 

"Me either." I can't stop myself from grinning. Not just that I'm resting my body in my wonderful bed but also... Finally! I'll be able to see Jed and Jenny again! Can this day get any better?! I totally forgot that I was so close from being grounded for a week. I mean, my twin best friends are coming back. The twins that I shared my secrets with! The twins that I share my laughter with! The twins that made me cry before they move to London... Well, that's not a good memory but still, I really miss them! The twins live two blocks away from our home, wait. Why is their home empty yet? 

"How come their house is still empty?" I asked, stating my thoughts. I got up and sat on my bed and raised my eyebrow at her. 

"They'll be here tomorrow morning. The twins will go to school the next day." She said. Aww. They won't go to school tomorrow? Great... 

"Can I ask you something?" Lisa said, trying to change the subject.  

"Shoot." 

"Why didn't you forgive Keith when he asked for an apology after the day of the start of the 'n' word? I mean, I think he really mean it. I thought you would forgive him that time because you're so close with each other. Why? I'm really sorry I asked you this. It's been bugging me for years. So now, I have the guts to ask it to you. Well?" she asked, trying not to look me in the eye. I know that Lisa's nervous that she asked about Keith because she knows how I hated hearing his name. 

"I can't tell you." I whispered, looking down. I'm not yet ready to tell her the truth. I hated keeping secrets to Lisa, but I also hate it when I told someone the main reason why I don't want to be friends with Keith anymore. I'm the only one who knows why. No one knew except me. Even my mom doesn't know it either. I just kept it myself because I'm not comfortable enough to tell anybody why. 

"I understand." She patted my back and form a small smile on her lips. I hug her tightly. We giggled as we let go from our tight hug. 

Suddenly, we heard a loud music and a loud roar of a car from the neighborhood. I can hear the bass of the music from my window. I think it's a truck. Lisa and I exchange looks. Lisa immediately got up from my bed, ran towards my window and look who's bugging the whole neighborhood with a stupid choice of rock music and roaring of car in the middle of the night. It's just irritating.
