A sharp pain travelled up my body to my heart. I saw the goat make a squeezing motion.
The pain that followed was so much that even a toothache was better. I realised he was squeezing my heart. Another squeeze and I couldnt take the pain- I screamed. The pressure was too high.
I just dropped down in agony. I heard furious barks in the room. The pain reduced slightly and I made out Sam commanding some dogs to attack. My vision was blurry but I swear i saw a white falcon sweep into the room.
'DARKSTRUK RETENTIUS,' someone shouted. The pain subsided slightly.
'HELIOS FLARIUS,' another familiar voice shouted. Bright light covered the area then dimmed out. I felt Sam shake me gently before I passed out.
I woke up to an icy liquid flowing down my face. I groggily got up and saw I was back in Euphoria. The princess stopped murmuring and all my pain disappeared. 'Goat-demon,' she told me before i asked. 'Looking for the sceptre. Good thing we arrived in time---'
'I thought you couldnt pass through the curtain,' Sam interrupted.
The King coughed then said, 'The alternative was to release our powers into a living medium. We left enough to destroy the demon.'
'But what about you? You need the magic.' I asked. The princess said, 'Considering you dont believe in magic, I'm surprised you care.'
I shrugged indifferently then asked who they dumped their powers to. As the 2 looked at each other I already knew who and so did Sam. I shook my head angrily and screamed angrily while cursing them.
The next moment I was in my room. I flopped into my bed and dozed off
