The day went so fast that it almost made Seth dizzy. Shortly after Seth had met up with Emily in the hallway, he broke down. Emily helped calm him down, but there was still lingering anxiety in the back of his mind.
Before he knew it, 3:30 was just 15 minutes away. At 3:25, the dismissing bell rang and Seth dashed to the back of the school as if his life depended on it.
Because it did.
He finally made it to his destination, panting heavily. When he finally caught his breath, he took out his phone to check the time.
It was 3:29.
At this point, Seth's heart was racing. His mouth felt dry and grainy, and his palms were clammy. His mind was telling him to just run away. There was no way this person knew that secret, right?
Then, Seth heard footsteps walking towards him.
This was it.
