21.39 pm
*phone buzzing*

I turn my head to the direction my phone is ringing from. I let go of my pencil and press the answer button.
"Hey Mina", I say while closing my laptop.
"Hey Y/N, what are you up to?, she says loud enough to hear it from 20 meters. Mina has always had the habit of talking loud since childhood. It's weird that i'm pretty used to it, but it can help me in certain situations.
"Nothing much, I just finished studying.", I say while packing my stuff.

"Are you free today?", she asks excitedly.
I swear, if this kid is up to something...
"Yeah, why?", I ask while sighing. I try my best not to sound annoyed or else she will go around and think i'm mad at her.
"We should try and go to the club today!", she says almost screaming out of excitement.
My eyes go wide. I almost choke on my own saliva. Did she really say CLUB?!
"Mina, what the hell are you talking about? Do you know how many weird people there are at the club?!", I almost shout.

"Come on Y/N! You always sit at home and study! You're 21, and you've never been to a club before!", she says.
Wow, did she really have to say it that way?
Well, my parents raised me to be a independent and hardworking woman, and i've never even thought about going to a club.
What if they found out someday that i'll be hoeing around in clubs. No way, these thoughts are going to far!
"Mina, I don't think I even have to answer you", I say in disbelief.
"Please Y/N, there are going to be so many fine looking guys today because it's Friday night!", she says. I can feel her pouting from across the phone trying to be innocent.
"Are you fucking crazy? What if we, or most likely you get drunk?! What will our parents think? They didn't raise us to this!", i shout.

"You're so fucking childish Y/N! You're 21! You're an adult. You can do whatever you want as long as it doesn't offend others. Please, just this once?", she says. I can feel her being death serious. Not gonna lie, but she has a point and I hate to admit it. But me, going to a club, is the worst combination ever. I will more likely scare men away then attract them.

"So it's a yes?", Mina ask from across the phone. I know I have to take care of this kid, and I don't mind to drink my sadness away either.
"Alright, but not later than midnight.", I say while sighing deeply. She scream and I can her excitement from her voice. "Thank you so so so so much Y/N!", she shouts making me smile.
"I'll pick you up at 10!", she says and hangs up.
I guess i'll have to get ready then.

*15 min later*
"Hmm, not bad", I say to myself while looking at the red dress from the mirror.
"Ok, Y/N, don't get drunk, don't get drunk." I keep repeating to myself.

*text message*
Mina👭: I'm outside!
Y/N: Coming!

While locking the door I see her car. She just sits there casually waiting for my response. I sit inside and can feel her stare at me.
"Aren't you gonna say anything?", she says leaning her arm on the wheel.
"You just took your parents car, right?", I say while putting my phone in my purse.
"U-uhm, yes, I-i mean n-no!", she says sitting straight up. I smile at her silliness.
"Just drive.", I say.

It's already getting dark and the lights are getting clearer and clearer. Why am I being so nervous? Why do I feel like something bad can happen?
"Mina, are you sure about this?"? I ask looking at her.
She look at me and turn her eyes immediately back to the road. "What do you mean Y/N? You're insecure about this because you've never been to a place like this before. It isn't always as shown in movies. It's a fun place to let all stress fade away and have fun.", she says.

I sigh deeply. The way she says it makes it feel so logic to go to a club. When is it ever logic to go to a fucking club?
"You say it like you've been to a club a hundred of times." I chuckle.
Her response makes me burst out of laughter.
"I got experience, unlike you.", she says with her sarcastic tone.
The next 10 minutes we spent the most time laughing until we reached the club.

"Let's go!", she says getting out of the car.
