Chapter I: Quiam, Born With Power

My peaceful slumber was disturbed by the smell of burning wood. I woke up and saw a fire burning our house down. So I hurriedly packed my things and ran to my parents who were already done packing. We swiftly left the house and what we saw outside sent us into trauma. Three dragons were enraged, burning our village from the ground up. My father told me to escape, and that he will slay the dragons. I left without hesitation. When I was getting pretty far from the village, I heard a loud boom. The village, my family, my entire species were gone. Tears fell from my eyes as I flee for my life. Years passed and I grew alone in the woods, learned how to hunt for food and build shelter from the rain.

By the way, the name's Quiam, last of the Zungs. I am a bit tall, six-foot-two to be exact. I have a slim oval-like torso and a semi-circle like head. My eyes are pure violet and as a Zung, I have only one arm and four large fingers. Not large, just long compared to my palm. My legs are slim and has 7 toes on each foot. Remember, I am not human and that I am a different species. And I am stuck with melancholy.

I traveled across the continent, met new people, had a great time and learned a lot. I am a little famous for discovering Pipe Falls, which is a waterfall containing three waterfalls, containing four waterfalls, containing two waterfalls. What I discovered next is a discovery that would change the world forever.
