Vanessa never really understood her attraction to the Swan girl. She looked over Bella as she was walking down the aisle of the greenhouse, the teacher helping make 'compost tea' and the woman rolling her eyes at the stupidity of Bella's so called friends. She felt a hand incase her own, just as cold as her own as she looked up and found her eyes captured with the honey colored irises. "Are you okay?" He asked her, the girl looking to the ground while nodding her head. She smiled up at her lover, kissing his lips while she felt eyes on them.

"I'm fine." She whispered, kissing his cheek and then looking over to the curious eyes of Bella herself.

She tilted her head and looked to Edward. "Come on." She mumbled, pulling him along to
talk to the dark haired girl and she tapped her shoulder, causing the girl to jump slightly.

"What's in Jacksonville?" Vanessa asked, the girl furrowing her eyebrows.

"How did you know about that?" Bella asked and Vanessa pouted.

"You didn't answer my question." She told the girl didn't give a glance towards the couple

"You don't answer any of mine, so..." she muttered and then felt anger brew in her veins. "I mean, you don't even say hi to me." She told them.

"Hi." They both stated while Bella then scoffed.

"Are you going to tell me how you stopped the van?" She asked while looking to Edward.

"Yeah. I had an adrenaline rush. It's very common. You can Google it." He told the girl while she sighed.

"Floridians. That's what's in Jacksonville." She told the couple, only for Bella to trip and Vanessa to catch her.

"Can you at least watch where you walk?" Edward asked angrily, just for Bella to roll her eyes in annoyance. "Look, I'm sorry I'm being rude all the time. I just think it's the best way." Edward told the girl, only for Jessica to run towards Bella excitedly.

"Bella! Guess who just asked me to prom." Jessica stated, leaving Edward and Vanessa to leave the two just as they walked out of the greenhouse.

Vanessa looked to Edward and pulled him back. "What are you doing?" She asked, seeing her husband's eyes widened.

"Trying to not be friends with her." He told his wife while her eyes widened.

"What do you mean? I thought you wanted to be friends with her." She stated, rubbing her forehead.

"No, Nessa, she is human. We don't want to put her in danger." He told her while Vanessa thought about it. She frowned and nods her head.
