Walking into the hospital, Vanessa held flowers as she saw Bella and Edward talking. The girl felt off, maybe because of having to drink her blood or maybe because she felt as if she could have killed her. She sighed, sitting next to Edward as she didn't look Bella in the eyes. "Bella, I just wanted to say that- -" and before she could finish, Bella flung onto the woman, hugging her tightly as Vanessa was shocked.
Edward smiled over the two girls while she sighed happily and hugged her back. "It's okay, you saved me." She whispered, the vampire relaxing instantly into her warm touch.
She looked to Edward while smiling happily. "Thank you." She told the girl, looking to Edward while holding his hand.
"So what happened?" Bella asked, trying to jog her memory. "Where's James?" She asked, still holding tightly onto Vanessa's hand.
"We took care of it. And the woman, Victoria, she ran off." Edward said while she looked over the two vampires.
"I'm alive because of you." She stated while Vanessa looked down in sadness.
"No, you're in here because of us." Edward said, looking to Vanessa as he took her hand.
"The worst part of it was that I thought I wasn't gonna be able to stop." She breathed out, closing her eyes as a tear slid down.
"You did stop." She told the female.
"Bella, you gotta go to Jacksonville so we can't hurt you anymore." Edward stated.
"What? Are you... no! No!" She yelled, trying to think of anything to say as she was shaking in anger. "I don't even know what you're... How... what are you talking about? You want me to go away? I can't..." she told them. "No, I can't... I can't just leave you two..."
"I know." They both stated, stopping Bella's frantic stuttering as Vanessa looked over the girl.
"We can't be apart. You can't leave me." Bella said, Vanessa looking to Edward as she grabbed Bella's hand.
"We're here." She whispered, Bella seeing something off about Vanessa's eyes.
"Okay, just don't... you just can't say stuff like that to me. Ever." Bella said as Vanessa nods her head.
"Where else are we gonna go?" Edward asked, kissing Bella's forehead while Bella could still tell Vanessa was off.
She looked to Bella and smiled. "Just rest Bella." She whispered, running her fingers through the girl's hair as Bella smiled softly.
