"My name is Bailey Hall, I'm 17, and I'm from Plains Georgia."

The light in the police station shone brightly in my eyes, causing me to squint.

"Ok, now, miss, why is there blood on your hands and face? Did someone attack you?" asked Sargent Donald

"Yes." I said, my eyes large and glazed over.

"Ok, tell me what happened? Everything is going to be Ok I can assure you that."

"No it won't, he's gone, she killed him, so I got my revenge."

"Revenge? Miss, you need to tell me what happened right now."

"Ok, I'll tell you when it all started, when she killed him."

June 9th 7:49 am

I woke up in my bed, stretching the sleep from my limbs.

My room was on the second story of our traditional style home.

My duvet was striped blue and white to look nautical, as did the rest of my room.

I always loved the ocean and I had always planned to move there when I got older.

I stood up and walked over to my window and looked out onto the street, still clad in my light green daisy duck PJs.

I went over to my closet and rifled thru my endless wardrobe.

I settled on a navy blue tube top and a pair of ripped blue jean shorts and finished off my ansible with my spiked half boot heels with my toes exposed.

I picked up my hairbrush and combed it thru my brown locks, my emerald green eyes shining in the mirror.

It was safe to say I was spoiled. Rotton to my core.

I wasn't filthy rich by no means, but I never had to ask for anything it was just presented to me.

My dad had a high paying job at a law firm, and my mother also made a hefty amount as a fitness trainer.

I went to a nice privilege school the next county over, and of course, I was the popular girl. I had everyone at that school wrapped around my finger, even the principle. Seeing at that she was my dad's freind it wasn't hard to become a favorite.

I was a straight A student so I never had to worry in that department or any other for that matter. I could have any boy in that school if I wanted, except of course the one I actually did want. Douglas Thomson. No, he wasn't the captain of the football team or even a player. He was shy, and smart, really the only person I could talk to on an Intelectual level.  He had been my best friend since 1st grade when he moved here. He was constantly bullied by my ex Derrick, Yes he was the captain of the football team, but if I couldn't have Douglas, I had to have somebody. I had to keep up appearances.

Truth be told, I never knew how Douglas felt about me, I never had the guts to ask. Our friendship meant too much to me.

I shook my head to get out the thoughts of what could have been. He was coming to get me so we could eat at our favorite spot 'The Buffalo Cafe'.

I hear a sound coming from my window, so I went to investigate.

"Yo, Bay! I'm here!" I hear Douglas yell from my driveway.

I stuck my head out and yelled back. "Ok, give me a sec!"

I turned and grabbed my blue jean patchwork backpack and turned to leave, but not before I turned and locked my window.

I raced down the shiny wooden stairs and went around the corner headed toward the foyer.

"I'm going out be back soon." I yelled to my dad over my shoulder.

I yanked open the door and slammed it right after I heard him say Ok.

"Hey Bay, looking snazzy! You ready?" he asked smiling as he sat atop his neon green and black bike.

"You know it. No bell today?" I asked as I motioned towards his bell-less bike.

"Oh.....yea, uh no. Derrick said it was dorky, and that I looked 5 years old." he said slouching frowning so sadly I thought my heart might break.

"Don't listen to him, you know he's only trying to get under your skin in some lame attempt to get back together with me." I sad smiled as I got on my Parrot head blue bike, complete with a parrot squeaky toy.

With that, we took off down the street towards the cafe.

I never realized my life after that would change forever.
