Yes - but what is Indian???

--- Alex's P.O.V ---

J instructed me to sort out Loki's hair and actually make him presentable while she went to the cash point. It took ten minutes just to brush the gel out of his hair to be able to start again. I could tell by the frown burrowed into his brow he had something on his mind.

"You going to tell me whats wrong or just keep up with this constipated look you got going on there mate?" He scowled at me but relaxed his facial expression.

"I am not allowed to return to Asgard until i've won the love of a woman. But Jordan loves you, so i think i might have to leave." I sighed and put down the mangled hairbrush.

"Look around you! She hit you with her car - she is actually sorry about that by the way - but instead of the dumping you at the doctors she brought you back to her house, bandaged you, fed you, gave you a place stay and is even helping you start your life again. And she doesn't know the first thing about you. You can win someones love in more than one way. You don't need to date her, thats my job, but you can be her friend and develop love that way. Its not that hard Loki."

"I never knew that."

"Well, now you do. See isn't that better." I tousled his hair and it fell lazily to the back of his head with strands against his face. "Now, you are actually pretty handsome!"

---Jordan---

For a guy who doesn't understand basic things like normal introductions, Loki sure could curse at cars. It's fair enough since i did kind of almost kill him with my car. Alex actually had to get out a map and show him where India was. I am mildly concerned he has concussion. 

"Hey! Its my favourite custormers! Whatsup AJ? Who's this guy?" Our friend Eddy was working tonight, he made a batch of lemonade and started writing down our usual. 

"This, is the guy J managed to hit with her car. Eddy this is Loki." The two guys awkwadly shook hands then moved away quickly. 

"So, Loki, what can i get you?" Loki looked to me panicked.

"He will have some chicken biryani please Eddy."

"Coming right up my lovely ladies!"

The three of us settled on the sofa and waited for our food. Jordan went over the key points for her essay. She is re-doing her humanites exam as she failed Geography, and since i aced History she thought she might as well do the one and i can help her with, Practical thinking,,,i guess.

When Loki excused himself to go to the toilet, Alex asked me, "So J, how are you going to get this one a job?"

"I don't know" i sighed "He said his mother said he was good at magic, whatever that means, so i think we should look into entertaining at childrens parties, cause i mean kids at impressed by anything it doesn't matter if he turns out to be shit." Alex laughed and Eddy arrived with our order. I was about to hand over the £20 when Loki returned and pushed me out of the way.

"I will pay Jordan." Loki handed Eddy about a dozen odd looking bronze coins. Eddy frowned at them but eventually pocketed them. 

"I think i just got cheated, but these are interesting looking coins so i will accept these! See you later AJ and friend!"

"See ya Eddy." Alex and i chorused.

--- Loki's P.O.V ----

Alex and Jordan have spent the last half an hour dancing around the lounge to McFly's song Love is on the radio. I hate to admit that it is catchy. I have asked why they don't change the song, but Alex shot me a look and told me that you 'don't mess with the chosen song of the day'. Alex and Jordan are sweet together. So comfortable in each others presence. I have thought about what Alex said, and although i don't fully understand, i will not fail my mother, so i will stay with Jordan.

"Dance with me!" Jordan pulled me up and started twirling me about and lipsyncing all the words. Her face had become red and a smile was plastered to her face. Alex was lost in her own little world swaying her hips in time to the drums. I had heard about music being fun to dance to, but i had never danced before. Jordan grabbed my hands and started waving them in the air. Alex came up behind me, placed her hands on my waist and encouraged me to sway to the music.

"Stop tensing Loki! Just be free!" Alex shouted jumping onto the sofa. Jordan let go of me but i continued moving, the girls whooped and they both sang the final chorus loudly. 

Finally they stopped. The girls landed on the floor together puffing loudly, still smiling. I sat on the floor with my back against the sofa. I don't really understand these Midgardians prioties, but it is nice living without expectations. I have decided i enjoy dancing, i must do this more often.

"I think i have sweated out that Indian you know." Alex puffed.

"Yep, you smell like it." Jordan smirked.

"Don't you like it when i smell sweaty?!" Alex shoved her armpit in Jordans face. Jordan squealed and pushed Alex off her. 

"You're distgusting you know!" 

"Yeah..but you love me really." Alex smiled and kissed Jordan on the forehead. Alex looked at her watch and cursed.

"Whats wrong love?"

"I have an interview tomorrow and it's too late to get home now." 

"Stay here silly. You can borrow that green dress of mine and I'll drive you in tomorrow." Jordan suggested.

"Thank you!" Alex squealed, "I'm going to bed now then, see you in the morning Loki," I nodded in response.

"I'll be there in a minute." Jordan said moving the coffee table back to its origanal spot. I helped her move the sofa and put the pillows back. 

"Will you be okay here tomorrow if i take Alex to her interview? I will wait for her then we will both return a couple of hours later. If you want anything special for lunch tell me before we leave." 

"Of course i will be fine." I replied. "And Alex, thank you, for everything." 

She smiled, "No problem Loki, happy to help." She gave me a hug and said good night.
