The world of Neo (WIP)

a brief history of Neo and its people.

At first Neo must seemed like earth at its early ages. With dinosaurs and other strange early entities. However unlike Earth, Neo had human life living among the dinosaurs. This era of life is known as the ARK age and it lasted for many years

Then out of fokin no where the gods sent down a comet which created the many cultures and races we know today

Races
Humans: the surviving beings unaffected by the blast. They are the most basic people around neo

Skeleton: the few people that died when the blast hit became skeletons after their souls reawakened. They are completely soul dependent and thus with no need for flesh it rotted off of their body, leaving only their skeletal forms

Nekos/animas(animal people): these were originally the few people out hunting or around animals when the blast hit Neo. Because of the affects of the blast these people fused their forms with the animals leaving them with some features relating to the designated animal. Such as cat ears, fur, or claws. Because of this forced synergy however they are more likely to succumb to instinct rather than instruction.

Water nymphs: these people like skeletons were dead when the comet came, however unlike skeletons thier bodies had be lying in the ocean causing their soul to morph with the water thus making the living water people we know as water nymphs, note that the souls had left their carcasses completely now that the had the water as their body.

Snowmen: these people are just the water nymphs except with snow related bodies. They are most commonly found up north (woopdee fucking doo)

Rootmen: these people have a similar origin to their animal counterparts. However unlike the animas these people were around the worlds plants at the time causing a forced synergy and giving them plantlike feature such as the ability to make food out of sunlight and Bodie features similar to that of most plants (no shit). The type of plant will often change with the landscape.

Farenkin: The people of the volcanoes of old were created when human souls fused with the lava and rocks, apon which created the people of living fire known as Farenkin

With those races of neo created the gods then decided to fuck off to let them  advance themselves, only intervening when prayers were made on orders of the head god Howard.

As a side note it is also possible to find what are called hybrid races. Albeit rare these races are notorious for having strange powers often mixing abilities from both races who procreated them. The sheer number of possible hybrid races is extremely hard to name so to elaborate, imagine all the races tat I just mentioned and put them into a slot machine. Now ave that slot machine give you something no matter what you got on the board and that's how you could get hybrids.
