Danny's POV

"Here it is," the girl said, "home sweet home.

The house we arrived at was very rundown. The windows were broken, the front door had a broken screen door hanging from only one hinge, broken tree limbs and leaves covered the yard, the roof looked as if it had holes in it, and the home was surrounded and covered in vines and weeds.
"Come in now hun, come with us." The tall boy said.
I got out of the car and made my way up onto the porch, carful not to step on any large branches. The trio followed behind me, and I over hear their conversation a bit.
"No! We can't do that, yet!"
"Yeah, Tyler, drop it down a notch."
"Ah come on, we got her her, now I have to do it! That's cruel to cool me up."
"Ty, I know how much you wanna, but you have to wait just a little longer, she just got here."
"Ugh fine."
"Hang on, girl, lemme get the door for you." The girl ran up in front of me and opened the door, I walked in and heard the boys conversation.
"Bro, you get shower duty, I'll have basement."
"Ah, I wanted basement!"
"No man, you got it last time."
"Ugh, fine."
I smelled awful things as soon as I stepped in. The house was a disaster. Furniture was broken and stained, walls were covered in film and gunk, and cockroaches and other pests crawled around.
"Hey, you said you needed a shower, right?" The tall boy asked. I nodded in response.
"Here, follow me." He lead me to a room near the back of the house.

Surprisingly, the bathroom was spotless. Everything was clean.
"Hey, here are the towels, soap, here is a brush, and washcloths are here." He pointed to the objects as he showed me where they were. "Oh, and here are some clothes. I hope they fit," he got a set of clothes from under the sink. "Do you need anything else?"
"Um, no."
"Ok, I'm Tyler, by the way."
"Ok, um, Danny."
He nodded as he shut the door. I got ready for my shower. I undressed myself, carefully not to get my clothes caught on my injuries. I turned on the water, then brushed my hair. It was harder than usual. Once ready, I stepped into the shower.
"Ah," I whispered in pain. The water was hitting my cuts, and it stung. I carefully washed my body and hair, then rinsed. I finished up and got out. I rushed to get in the clothes and fix myself up. The pants fit just fine, and the shirt was one size bigger than what I'm supposed to wear, but that was okay. I brushed my hair, letting my long back hair fall behind my shoulders. I then realized that I needed some medicine or ointment for my cuts. Eh, I'll just ask when I get out there. I looked in the mirror. I didn't look myself, but at least I don't look homeless, like I did earlier.

I opened the door to see Tyler sitting out there, just right outside my door.
"Hey, uh, Tyler?" I asked.
"Oh shit," he jumped a little, not expecting me, "yes?"
"Do you guys happen to have any, medicine, or ointment that I could maybe put on my cuts? Please?"
"Uh yeah, yeah sure. Of course you can, just gimme a sec," he jogged off, yelling things across the room.
"Bec! Do we have any ointment for cuts?!"
"Yeah! Second cabinet!"
"Ok!"

He returned a minute later, holding a small tube.
"Here you go."
"Thanks." I retreated back into the bathroom.
I placed the medicine on wherever the cuts were. My arms, legs, some on my face, and especially my hands. Once they had the ointment on them, I closed the tube and set it on the counter. Then I shoved my phone into my boot, and walked out.

I walked into the kitchen to find both boys standing in the middle.
"I apologize for not introducing myself properly," the shorter one said. "Tyler here thought that he should do it without me. I'm Ryan," he held out a hand to me.
"Danny," I replied, shaking it.
"Now, for the main event," he said, "Follow us."
I did as I was told, yet I was kind of scared of what would come next.

We ended up outside, in front of cellar doors. The sun was setting beyond the woods, and the temperature was beginning to drop. Ryan stood directly in front of the doors, and swung both of them open. What layer behind was a path of stairs descending into the darkness that lied beneath.
"After you," Ryan said. When I just stood there, "Go!" I flinched and slowly walked into the cellar, and made my way down, deeper into the darkness.

I started to wonder if they were coming after me, so I looked up to see Ryan holding one of the doors in each hand.
"Good luck getting anywhere in the dark." And the doors were shut.

Shit.

And of course, being the klutz that I am, I took one step, and down I went, falling on concrete stairs. I cut my arms and legs, but somewhere near the ending, I hit my head, and blacked out. (I mean, I already saw black, so it didn't make much of a difference.)

~•~

I woke up to darkness, still. I went to move, but couldn't.

I. Was tied. TO GODDAMN CHAIR.

Ugh. How much trouble can a person get themselves into in one day. Much less a couple of hours.

God, please don't answer that.

Suddenly, a dull light flicked on, and that girls face was illuminated.

"Well, hello," she said. "What's your name again?"
"Da-"
"Oh yeah, Danny, was it?" She said, as I rolled my eyes.
"Why the hell am I here?" I demanded.
"Hey, shut up when I'm talking."
"Um, you weren't." She responded with a kick in my shin. I winced in pain.
"You'll learn to give a little respect around here, soon."

I heard the sound of plastic wheels on the concrete floor, and metallic objects clinging around. Ryan came around with just as I expected. A tall mobile table with knives and what-not on it. Ryan left as soon as he made his delivery. The girl smiled.
"Well, the party just started."
"What do you want from me?"
"We just want you to join our, gang. Malis Cogitationibus."
"What?" By now, I wasn't even surprised, I was more . "Why do you want me?"
She glared at the tools, then at me. "Well, you look," she scanned me, "bad-ass?" She scoffed, "Ugh, just join us and this whole thing will be over." She grabbed a scalpel, and walked over to me. She then placed the sharp edge on my arm, and pushed. Not enough to puncture the skin, but enough to make me feel the pain.
"And if you don't," she laughed, "We'll make you join." She then ascended up the stairs.

Oh my gosh.

I'm going to die.

Holy shit. My phone! I loosened the rope on my wrist and reached into my boot to grab it. I unlocked it, and made my call.
"Hello?"
