I got up from my position kneeling on the floor and started walking through the forest. I didn't quite know where I was heading but I sure as hell wouldn't get anywhere staying here. I realised that in my inventory I had a satchel bag so I summoned it and wore it. Inside was a small book that had some instructions. I opened the book and flicked through it. The book assisted in the reading because it had the trait that I could just take it all in. In a mere instant I learnt that I also had the power to use all of the different types of magic.
I found a small cliff and decided to test out earth magic. I thought in my mind about the result I wanted to create. I wanted to create a small cube, two centimetres on all side and remove it from the side of the mountain. As I aimed my hand at the cliff face and thought about the result several little cubes came out and made a hole in the cliff edge. I kept at it for roughly half an hour until I had a decent enough size room. It was perfectly rectangle, about 5 metres one way and 3 the other.
I kept at it for more hours and by then I had a whole house in the side of the cliff. I went down to the edge of the water and took some sand, using fire magic and manipulation magic to turn it into glass. I made a front in the large open hole at the side of the cliff. I added some windows and manipulated some trees into a nice door and panel. I took some wood to make into furniture and made various things, such as a table, chair, kitchen, and a simple bed. I couldn't make any sort of soft mattress or pillow so for now I just slept on the hard wooden bed.
I woke up in the morning refreshed. For now I wanted a house and I had it. I hadn't thought about my next move but it involved contributing to society. I decided that while I had nothing to do I was hungry, and when I say decided I mean that my stomach let me know. I headed out into the forest to hunt some food. The first thing I saw was a wolf, slowly strolling through the forest. He was looking for prey and thankfully hadn't seen me up in the tree. I pulled the rifle up to my face, aiming down the iron sights. I breathed in steadily and held my breath. I slowly squeezed the trigger and the bullet launched from the rifle. It struck the wolf right in the side of he head and he fell to the earthen ground with a thud. I leapt down from the tree and walked over to the wolf's corpse. I held my pistol in my left hand and a knife in my right, just in case he wasn't dead or there were more around. I grabbed it's corpse and headed back to my home.
On my way I saw some exposed ore and decided to take it. I melted it down and shaped it into the head of a hoe and took it with me back home. When I got home I skinned the wolf. I let the blood before hand and afterwards I cut the meat up and cooked it. I stored the rest in my inventory and then had my meal. It wasn't very good due to a lack of herbs but at least it was food. I took the lump of processed metal that resembled the shape of a hoe and attached it to a long wooden rod. I walked out to the front of my house and started to till the ground. At this current time I had no seeds to plant however I thought I still tilled the ground.
I relaxed in the afternoon and sifted through the information from the book in my head. One of the types of magic it mentioned was taming magic, along with summoning magic. They are both somewhat similar but have different merits. Summoning magic seemingly makes monsters out of no where and when summoned they are immediately tamed. Taming magic however requires you to approach a wild beast and then be friendly to them, which still has a chance to attack you. The only props that taming magic has is that if you are strong enough and nice enough you can get some seriously strong beasts.
With the goal of taming a wild beast I set out for the night. I didn't feel very tired and thought that there would be some kind of stronger beast at night. I walked wearily, rifle in hand. I had to be careful in case I got jumped by a pack of wolves or something worse. I travelled around, making a mental map of the area and where I travelled. I saw various small animals, like rabbits with three eyes, giant spiders too big to be normal and bats with horns on their heads. I kept on travelling, ignoring the 'smaller' beasts. I was ready to call it a night when I stumbled upon a clearing. In the clearing I saw something rather strange.
A majestic bird perched atop a small, burnt tree, and a small white wolf sitting a little bit lower. the perfect companions.
