calm down

being alone, it feels empty.

listening to the silence that's wrapped itself around you, seeping into your lungs, the structure of your bones.

the loneliness is deafening.

the silence crushes you.

you know not to move, not to disturb it.

it screams at you if you move, life comes back, you're surrounded.

maybe loneliness is a comfort.

no pressure to talk, interact, show others that you're alive.

there's just silence, nothing. death even, if you're alone too long.

surrendering to loneliness, the silence, it feels okay sometimes.

let the time when you are alone drag you into it, lay there with nothing in your heart, your eyes, your soul. stop existing, just for a while. it makes life bearable.

let time pass by, sucking out your heartbeat, leaving blank eyes.
