Chapter 18

*Yamire*

Its been a whole four months since I moved out of August's condo and I've been miserable. I couldn't keep a job, my blood pressure has be up and down, I've been staying with Mekka, and to top it off I'm two weeks past due. It's become harder and harder everyday for me to even do anything. I've tried to keep my distance with August only going to ultra sounds and shopping with each other. Today tho was my ultra sound to see what was wrong I wasn't feeling it at all. I rolled myself out the bed and got dressed. I threw on some sweats a plain short sleeve shirt and my converse. I pulled my hair back into a ponytail then left.

When I met August at the doctors office he looked terrible. Like all he did was sit around and cry all day. I kind of felt sorry for him because I missed em a lot, but again he did cheat on me. I just glanced at him as we followed the doctor to the back. Once we were in the back the doctor started running test and talking about different stuff. I was too far off in lala land to even listen to what she was saying all I could do was stare at August who was looking out into lala land. "Okay ma'am your baby seems to be doing well, he's going to be a healty little thing, and you're due Feburary 8th only five more weeks to go." I smiled as he helped me off the table. "Take care of your kid son that right there is going to be a life changing experience." the doc shook his hand before leaving us in a room all alone. I stood up and wiped the gel off my stomach not saying a word to August. "So..... How you been?" he asked nervously. "I'm fine just a little sore, but ya know thats cause I'm always on my feet." we both grinned. "Okay I know I'm going out on a limb here but my moma and fam want to meet you this weekend. Would you mind?" it was silent for a few then I spoke. "Of course Aug I would love to meet our son's grandmother." I smiled then gave him a hug which lasted forever. "Okay I will come by later and pick you up, so we can start the drive tonight." I nodded okay then we both left the doctors. Once I got back to Mekka's I packed a small bag for the weekend, took a nice shower, washed my hair, then put on my pjs. I watched a few movies with Mekka until August texted me. After he texted me once he was outside we then started our little over night drive to Louisianna.

Aug pov

The whole ride there was quiet I mean dead silence nither of us spoke at all. When we got to the hotel down the street from where my fam stayed I tried waking Yamire up, but she was knocked out cold so I had to carrie her to our room. I layed her in the bed then got in my own and got a little rest before this little get togethernmy family was having. *Beep, beep, beep* After what felt like two hours of sleep it was time for me to wake up and start getting ready. I woke Yamire up so she could do her thang then got in the shower. When I got out I put on my dark Levis, red v neck, my black sweat jacket, and my black and white J's with the matching beanie. I added my gold watch and chain then sprayed on some colone. When Yamire came out the bathroom she had on her law waist acid washed jeans, a black tiger shirt with her black leathermen jacket, and her black and white J's. he hair was straight with a part down the middle and she didn't have on any make up. She looked so damn fine for a pregnant girl I just had to give her props. "You looking good baby momma." I grinned "Not so bad baby daddy" She grinned back. She grabbed her purse while I grabbed my keys and then we left. It only took us like fifthteen minuets to get there so I let her know about my fam. "Okay now my mom can be on the easy going side, but my aunts are a whole different story. They will drill you with a million questions and hurt your feelings in a heartbeat, so will my neices. My uncles wont do nothing but flirt and so will my dawgs. My girl cousins are more on the easy side so I'm not really worried about them, but listen whatever you do don't let them get to you and if you need me just call my name ight?" I looked over at her and she nodded looking kind of worried I grabbed her hand and squeezed it. "I gotcha." she smiled then looked out the window right as we were pulling up. There were yons of cars parked outside and no one knew that I was coming today, or that I was bring my baby's mom. We got out the car and she grabbed my hand and clinched to the side of my really tight. I walked in the front door and heard a lot of loud talking in the back. I took a deep breath and walked into the living room where everybody was at.
