Patricia's p.o.v

The blinding light was soon gone and I could finally see again... just not what I wanted to. I wanted to see a 5-year-old Lilly standing in front of me smiling, laughing, and playing around. Unfortunately, that's not what I saw instead of a happy normal 5-year-old; I saw a 20 some year old Lilly who was extremely pale and unconscious.

Patricia sighed as the disappointment slowly sunk in. When suddenly two emerald
green eyes looked up at me. I stared at her in shock. Just a second ago she had been unconscious now she was looking up at me; her pupils large her, auburn hair wild, and her lips chapped. I must have been the only one who noticed, and I must have been staring because Kyle gave me a strange look.

Don't ask.

Kyle took a deep breath and stared at me like I was crazy.

Lilly smiled.

"What are you looking at-"

"Kyle look!" Mike interrupted.

"WHAT! What is so important that couldn't wait? Huh? You're always so impatient you're such a big a- Lilly!"

Kyle kneeled down at Lilly's side, tears of joy rolling down his cheeks.

Lilly laughed. Kyle buried his face into the couch cushions. His sobs muffled by the cushions.

"I'm such a what? Huh? Kyle? What am I such a big of? Huh?"
Mike must have been furious at Kyle because he wasn't making too much sense.

Lilly's eyes met mine. I nodded.

"Not now Mike! Mike this isn't the time to take out unnecessary, dreadful and absolutely outrageous human emotions!"

Mike's face turned red. Now he really was angry.

"You want to talk about unnecessary, dreadful, and outrageous human things?! Okay then! I'll tell you one! Help! Help is unnecessary! You wanna know how? Well because you don't have to help someone! IT'S...A...CHOICE! AND IT'S AN HONEST MISTAKE THAT MOST GOOD PEOPLE MAKE! I MADE IT! I MADE THAT MISTAKE HARDCORE! IT WAS A MISTAKE OF MINE TO HELP YOU, A SELFISH, LONELY, BAST-"

"MIKE!" I screamed. Mike, James, and Lilly then turn to look at me. Mike's face tomato red.

"Yes? Patricia anything you need? I'm sorry for the inconvenience. It's just some people just really know how to push other people's buttons." Mike gave Kyle an ugly look.

"Um...it's okay. I was just wondering if you had a restroom. Do you have a restroom Mike?"

"Yes...um but it may be none of my business, but why?"

"Yeah you're right it is none of you're business, but I'll tell you either way. I just decided Lilly needed a bath...you know? Get all dolled up, dress up, get ready for the day...know where I'm going with this?"

Mike nodded.
"The furthest on from here is on the 4th floor. Just take two lefts then go forward till you see two hallways turn right then, continue going forward, and to your left, there should be two rooms. Go into the room that has a white door and an emerald doorknob. Okay? Got it?

"Um...yeah. Go up the stairs and on the 4th floor take two left, go forward till two hallways, right, left, white door emerald doorknob. Got it! Bye! C'mon Lilly!"

WXUVWKE: Okay so I know I've been taking a long time to publish chapters. I'm sorry it's just I just have to edit it and correct any errors. Which sadly, I make a lot of. This was a kind of short chapter I know. I know not a lot of things were covered in this chapter. I also know that I should have probably brought Lilly back sooner. In fact, she was gone for so much time that it kind of seemed like it was going to be the main conflict. I also wanted to give credits to CXTEXRX for helping me out with...mostly every chapter, including this one a bit and all the ones before this chapter. So yeah thank you CXTEXRX for helping me out it may not be completed but you've helped me correct and edit Mystery Past since the beginning! I also wanted to give credits to alicefarias127 for all the support! I Also wanted to give credits to triciabird and amanda1930amanda1930 for reading it and helping it become even more popular.

Also, I might be making a Q&A chapter where I'll answer questions you guys comment about me or the characters or the books.
