Walking into my new house I breath a breath of relief and exhaustion. After 4 years of moving we finally settled. I head up to my room where the Machoke have been setting boxes down. Luckily they've already set up my bed and I plop down. I sighed,"New region, new town, new Pokemon. I'm ready for anything!" I said as I punched the air.
"Damien! Come down here!" I heard my mom yelling down stairs.
"Coming!" I slip on my shoes and started to head down the stairs. I see mom watching the TV.
"Look! Your Dad's On!"She say pointing at the TV.
"Wait...Really?!" I shout running towards the TV.
"We have brought you this report from The Pokemon league in Alola..."
"Oh...I guessed we missed it." my mom says in disappointment. I put my hand on her shoulder.
"No worries. One day I'll go to all regions and defeat dad and I'll be the one on TV!" I say with enthusiasm. My mom laughs.
"Sure you will." She puts her hands on my shoulders. "Now go to the professor's house and get your Pokemon!"
"Right!" I grab mom's bandanna that she used to wear when she journeyed in Hoenn and my bag. I burst through the door into the small town of Pallet Town. I breath in the sweet air of the town and I'm ready. I head down the path to the professor's lab but all I got was a kid standing there.
"Um, hey?" I ask him, "Is the professor here?" he turns around.
"Huh? Oh yeah.. He's just getting some info in the backyard." he responded.
"Oh...Okay." I say before sitting on the steps. So trying to start a conversation with the guy I ask him a question: "So what's your name?"
"It's Leo... What's your's?"
"Damien. My father's the Champion of the Alola, actually."
"WAIT, FOR REAL?!?" his excitement made me jump." YOUR SAYING THAT KADEN, THE FRIGGING CHAMPION OF ALOLA, IS YOUR FATHER?!"
"Ye-yes.." I said feebly. "I actually want to beat him and become the new Champion! But I need a starter Pokemon before I actually achieve that goal though." I laugh sheepishly. After I said that an old man burst through the door.
"AAAAAHHH!!!" the three of us yelled in surprise.
"Hahaha...I'm so very sorry. This Squirtle here used Water Gun and it made the floor wet. I walked over the puddle and slipped the door opened when I tried to gain my balance back. But please come in. I believe I have the starters you want." The old man said before gesturing us inside. Both me and Leo looked at each other in excitement and went inside.
