We enter the lab to see Professor Oak and Rowan in the midst of a conversation.
"We're back!" I say interrupting whatever conversation they were having. Prof. Rowan turns to look t us and smiles.
"I see that you two had battle in the field out back." Both Leo and I nod in agreement. "Now, would you mind telling me who won?"
I raise my hand eagerly. "I did! With the help of Kyo of course!" The two of us grin. The two professors smile at us.
"Wait right there." Professor Oak says to us as he heads into a back room. Both Leo and I look at each other in confusion but, we look back as Prof. Oak returns back into the room we're in.
"Here, I'd like you to have these." He hand the two of us small computer like things.
"Wait...This can't be...?" Leo gasps.
"And it is." Professor Rowan replies. "It's a Pokedex. This lets you record the Pokemon you meet and gives you information on Pokemon you haven't met."
"Wow." I gasp in amazement. "I can't believe it. We are real Pokemon trainers now! I feel like I can take anything!"
"Same here!" Leo shouts.
"Well, beyond Route 1 is Viridian City. And past that is Pewter City. There you'll challenge your first gym." Professor Oak tells us. "So what are you waiting for? Go! Challenge the Pokemon Gym challenge!"
"Right!" We shout simultaneously and we head out to Route 1.
The journey begins!
