Chapter fourteen

(Artemis Pov)

I hate this. I hate it. I hate it. I swear on my hunters I hate it! I sigh as I got ready for bed. Why do we need to be protected? We've done perfectly fine without it. Even with Gaea! That was one of the worst wars!

I flopped onto my bed and screamed as loud as I could. Good thing my tent is sound proof. 😏

I laid in bed for the longest time thinking. Thinking, thinking, thinking, and thinking some more. Finally, for what seemed like hours, I fell into a dreamless sleep.

Time Skip -

I wake in a good mood until I remembered yesterday. After I finished getting ready, I took a deep breath and walked out of my tent. What I saw shook me to my core.

(Nico's Pov)

I was the one to take the last watch. As I was watching, I found three bucks. As I took watched, I gutted them and even cooked them. When Percy got up I was just finishing. "Nico, I need the cream!"

I flipped the meat and walked into our tent. (We share a) because we're the only guys, b) We want to give the girls privacy and last but not least c) we are a couple.)

I picked up the cream and put it on his eyes. He sighed from relief when he opened his eyes. "Yeah, now I can see your handsome face."

I blushed a deep red and looked away. "T-thanks," I shuddered.

Percy giggled. He moved my head so I would face him. "I love it when you blush."

I blushed an even deep shade of red and tried to look away, but someone *cough* Percy *cough* pulled me into a kiss.

It was sweet and slow. Nothing big some people would say, but I say its's the best thing that has happened to me. Percy is the best thing. I never thought he would never love me back, but he really did.

We pulled away for air, but our foreheads were touching. Percy had a goofy grin and I had a smile. "I hate we have to hide this away from everyone."

I sigh. "Only six more days, and you know we can't keep this from Thalia."

Percy laughed. "Yeah, I know. Now, let me get dressed, then we can hunting." Percy stood up.

"I've already done it. Plus I've cooked it. All we have to do it set it up and the other stuff Artemis wants us to do." I smiled.

Percy smiled. "I should have known. It's you, Nico di Angelo my boyfriend. Now, you start setting the table up. Then, after I get dressed I'll come out and help, ok?"

"Ok" I pecked his lips and walked out.

Let's just say by the time Percy was done, I had half the stuff out.

(Leo prov)

I laughed as I land on Ogygia. I yelled as loud as I could, "SUNSHINE! IM BACK!"

I stood on the raft, the only reason I am not on my mettle dragon is that I couldn't fix him.

After, about five minutes of silentness and me playing my fingers. I got off the raft and walked around looking for the love of my life. I looked around for a good two hours, but there was no sign of my beautiful girl. Or woman. Yeah, she's a woman. Then, out of nowhere there was crying.

I ran towards the crying. When I got to where I heard the crying the most there was nothing. "Sunshine?"

All of a sudden I was knocked on the ground.

(Percy Pov)

I walk out of the tent to see. The meat cooked and the table almost set. I gasp, Nico looks over at me and blushes. "Finally, I feel like a slave."

I laugh and walk over and help set the rest of the table. When we were done I kissed Nico. "What else do we have to do?"

"Well, we have to get the girls up, wash dishes, and then do the laundry, then we are moving."

There was a gasp behind us. We turn to see Artemis. "You're going to do all that? I wasn't going to have you do it until we moved."

"I was planning on it and all I have to do is make him do," Nico said, with a smirk.

"Hey!" I said. Artemis and Nico laughed. "Anyway, if you get the girls up and they eat. We gotta tell them what's going on."

Artemis walked out of her tent. "All right."

I turned, got some arrows and two knives. I handed one to Nico. "Let's sharpen some arrows while they eat."

Nico and I climbed up, sat on tree branches, and started working on the arrows.

After, a couple later there was a lot of grounding. There was also some gasps. *cough* Thalia *cough*Phoebe*cough*

After the girls were done eating, of course, there is a monster attack!
