Part 22

T H E   N E X T    D A Y...................

Koneko POV:

*Yawn* 

Did we really fall asleep on the couch? Meh, I don't really care anyways. 

I got up and put on my usual clothing.

I'm hungry, what is there to eat here? I went in the kitchen and looked in the fridge.

I'll just get some coffee instead.

I closed the fridge door and looked out the window. I saw a man, lying across the street. 

That must be Julius. I don't care.

I turned away from the window and made me some coffee.

Nathorix POV:

*yawn* 

I heard the coffee machine. 

Is he up? 

I got off the couch and walked to the kitchen.

"Hey, did you make some coffee for me too?" I asked.

"No, but there is still some left in the machine."

"Ok."

I grabbed me a cup and made me some coffee.

"So," Koneko said while sipping his coffee," What should we do today?"

"I was actually gonna do something, by myself. I kinda need some alone time. You know, to rethink some stuff." I replied.

"O-Oh, ok I guess."

"You can stay here though."

"Ok."

"Well, I'm gonna get dressed, and head out. See ya Koneko." 

I kissed him on the cheek and left the kitchen to get ready.

Koneko POV:

That's strange. Why would he not wanna hangout? He usually wants to. But, I guess I can just be lazy the whole day. There isn't much to do anyways.

I decided that I would just watch TV the whole day and just be lazy.

Nathorix POV:

Ok, I don't think he knows. Perfect. 

Now I need to think. Where and how would I propose to him? Maybe the beach? Hmm, yea I'll do that. Now, I need to get the ring. I just need to hope one thing. That he accepts.

I grabbed my wallet and headed out.

I walked down the sidewalk, into the city. I have to get to the jewelry store. I finally made it, after about 20 minutes.

"Hello sir. How may I help you?" The man at the counter politely asked.

"I need the limited diamond ring please!" I exclaimed. I really needed that ring.

"Ok, that will be about.....100,000 dollars." The man replied.

Dang, that's expensive. Luckily, I have enough money.

"Here you go." I gave the man my debit card.

The man rang the card.

"Alright sir, have a nice day!"

"You too." I replied as I walked out of the store.

Well, that was a bit easy. Now, I need to think. How will I propose to him? I'll have to think about that one. Now, what time is it? Ok, its 2:30 PM. I'll just set an alarm for 4:30 PM, so that way, I can get ready and just come up with an excuse for Koneko to get ready too. I really hope he accepts!

Koneko POV:

There's nothing else to do around here! Ugh, I kinda wish Nathan was here, but-

I heard a knock at the door. I went to the door and answered it. 

"Hey Kitty."

"Oh, hi Nathan."

"What have you been doing while I was gone?"

"Eh, nothing much."

"Oh, ok. Well, I want to take you somewhere this evening, so we need to get ready around 4:30."

"Where are we going?"

"Its a surprise."

"Oh ok then."
