 "Come on Sherlock, we're best friends. You know what best friends do?"

"I'm not showing you my arse if that's what you want."

"No! Tell secrets,"John corrected leaning in closer to whisper,"If you tell me yours I'll tell you mine."

Sherlock's eyes widened,"You got one too?"

He nodded,"upper left cheek."

"Upper right,"Sherlock chuckled,"Do you promise?"

"Scout's-er-Medic's honor,"John said with a hand over his heart.

Sherlock gestured for him to get closer and whispered in his ear,"a C-clef."

"What on earth is that?" John asked not backing away.

Sherlock thought about where John could've seen one,"When I'm playing Violin, the symbol at the beginning of the music."

"Oh!"He remembered,"The funny looking thing with two lines and a fancy backwards three."

"Yep,"He replied, popping the 'p',"Now what's yours?"

John sat back and Sherlock followed. Apparently John didn't care if it was secret or not,"A.R.A.B"

"What's that stand for?'Sherlock asked, intrigued.

"Arrogant Regular Army Bastard,"John couldn't help but laugh after admitting it, and Sherlock was laughing as well,"I got caught by my commander and she didn't take it too well. So she offered to choose the tattoo herself, and well. Here we are now."

"Suits you,"Sherlock contained a laugh,"So-"

A person came up to them,"Hello boys, would you like to come in?"

"Yes please,"John replied as the two stood up as the man unlocked the door,"What's on the menu for today?"

"I'd suggest breakfast, you two look hungry,"He replied walking to the back and returning with two menus,"I'll be back to take your order."

They looked through the options and they both sat theirs down at the same moment. Sherlock raised an eyebrow,"Let me guess... the egg and ham plate with toast and jam. You're also going to get black coffee and later ask for some tea and cream."

"Yeah,"he sighed,"I'll never know how you do it, will I?"

"Never say never John,"Sherlock said,"Now guess mine."

"Egg white platter with a side of ham, and to drink you'll get tea, Earl grey: NATO style,"John replied to get some claps from Sherlock,"Did I do it?"

"Yes,"he congratulated,"Now how'd you figure it out?"

"Your hand is over a spot on the menu, from what I remembered, that spot on the other flap was the egg white platter, then I know you get a side of ham when there's not already some, and I know you like your tea NATO style, because well... you're you,"John replied.

"Well done John, I told you that you could do it,"He calmly replied.

He nodded and then started to tap on the table,"Are you sure I got it right?"

"Yes John, why would I lie?"he said mirroring John's tap,"Morse."

"What?"

"You're subconsciously tapping in morse. The alphabet to be more precise,"Sherlock began to tap with him until they reached 'O'. The man came back to their table,"Hello."

"Hello sir, what can I get you two to drink?"

"Black coffee,"John responded.

"Earl grey, milk and two sugars,"Sherlock picked at the scarf.

"And to eat?" He continued, scribbling on his paper.

John signaled Sherlock to go,"I'll take the egg white platter and a side of ham please."

"And I'll be getting the egg and ham plate with toast,"John continued handing the waiter the menus.

"Thank you sirs, I'll be back in a hot minute with your drinks,"He walked off into the kitchen.

They chatted for a bit more until they got their drinks and their food. While eating they pointed a people walking by and made assumptions about where they worked and such.

"She works at the school as a janitor," John sighed as he took another bite of food,"NIce lady too."

"When school is off, she works as a maid at the Adler estate,"Sherlock continued,"You can tell by the uniform she is wearing."
