Passion

You are the breath that brings me life

And yet, the cause of all my strife

You hold your anger in the morning

Yet I find you waiting in the night

You come to me with confused query

Yet lash at me with venoms pouring

Yes you feel this mix of righteous scorning

And love for me, a passions glory

And still you wish for me to stay

Though your actions lead to my decay

You see me walk around in mourning

And wish me still to see the day

The light you exude in fervent ray

As along the rushing rivers we play

Will burn us both to cinders blowing

Along the winds of tomorrow's fray
