The confusion~

I began to walk away, confused and hurt. Was Connie ignoring me? Did he just not care anymore? I told him that I was almost devoured by and aberrant titan on the most recent mission and since then he became very quiet. I slowly inched my way to my room, making little to no eye contact with others. It was difficult, passing the dinning room that is. Ignoring all my urges, I finally made it to my room. I could feel hot tears pour down my cheeks as I flopped on my bed. I tried not to wake my room mate Nanaba , who was much older than I and represented a boy in many ways. She was snoring on the bottom bunk, which was very obnoxious in the case that my heart had just broke. After a few agonizing minutes there was a knock at the door. I had no choice but to answer the door, Nanaba being unconscious and all. I wiped my tears and opened the door. Standing in the door way with his arms folded was our short ravenette corporal. In instinct I saluted, but he didn't care much. The little man grabbed my arm and threw it down, you could tell he was pissed! He stared me in the eye, noticing the pink tone on my cheeks from crying.

"Brat, have you been making that god awful noise?"

"Y-yes sir!"

"Could you pipe down I'm trying to calm Hanji down."

"What about-"

"She's having nightmares about sonny and bean."

"Oh... well I'll try to stay quiet corporal."

"Good."

He turned around and slammed the door in my face. I slowly made my way back to my bed just to hear another knock at the door. Patiently waiting outside was Connie, the one I had embarrassed myself in front of prior.
