What a way to wake up. The first thing I see in the morning was Rachel on top of me saying "finally you woke up!"." wha-wha-what are you doing on top of m-m-me" was all I could answer. " what?" was all she said. After a while she realized the weird position of being on top of me, she got as red as I did the second time i passed out, got off of me with a single jump and then slapped me with all her strength. She then took of running away from the room i was in. A few seconds after leaving she poped her head through the door and said "ummmm... get ready for school, we're going today and... JUST GET READY!" 'What's up with her?' was all I could think. She then gave me a killer look and left. I just shuck my head and got up to start gettin' ready when I saw a shadow in the wall. I was suprised at first, don't know why, I looked to the direction the shadow was coming from but I didn't see anything exept a flower vase and the laptop; not seeing anything weird, I just kept walking towards the bathroom and forgot all about it.
I went down to the kitchen to eat breakfast and I saw Rachel in her uniform eating her breakfast. I stopped completely in the kitchen door, she looked at me and looked quickly down at her waffles like she was nervous I would go and take them from her. I passed beside her and said "you look beautiful today Rachel". I really don't know where I got that bravery from but I said it. There was no response... until she stood up and slapped me again for no reason. I opened my eyes after the slap and tried to look for Rachel but she wasn't there. I then sat on the dining room eating or at least trying to because, with the two slaps she hit in the same cheek, I could barely move my jaw.
We went walking to school and when I say we I mean me and Trevor cause Rachel was already at school. "what happened to your cheek" Trevor asked "don't know ask Rachel" was all I could say. He just laughed."Don't worry, I'm sure she didn't mean it"he then said. "yeah, I don't think so" I answered. We were silent the rest of the way. When we finally got to the school, Rachel was standing in the front gate looking everywhere like she was looking for someone, she then looked our way and quickly left like she'd had seen a ghost. I just looked at her run away feeling kind of weird because of that.
I entered the gate and started walking to the classrooms."Hey" a familiar voice said"long time, no see". "your right man it is a long time" i answered. from the back came a black longhaired guy with a leather jacket and converse. "Hey Kane" he said, "What's up Cody?" I replied. "Just doing my regular deeds, you know, card tricks and doin' deals in black jack and poker." he replied "yup, that's you"I answered. "You ok? " Cody asked. Kind of startled by the question I answered "Of course I'm ok, why?", "nothing " he replied.
I looked at him wondering why he asked something like that. The bell than rang so we walked to our classroom because he was in the same group as me. While we were walking I accidentally bumped with a girl.
"Sorry" was all I said continuing on, just then I looked back and saw her looking at me. She then looked away and I kept walking. We got to our classroom and sat down, I realized that almost every one was with me last year exept two persons. One of them looked like a blond rich guy . I looked at the other new student and said to Cody who was behind me. "Isn't that the girl that I bumped with earlier? ". "Maybe, I didn't get to see her well" Cody said looking at the girl. Right then she stood up and left the classroom. She was just in the door when she looked back directly at me and then kept walking out of the classroom. I looked at Cody, finding him looking at me.
Right at that moment I heard a loud crash in the hallway, I looked at every student in the class and thought 'why didn't they hear the crash'. At that moment I thought 'Am I missing something else? This happened at Rachel's house too when the truck hit the werewolf. This really is weird.'
Then I heard the crash again, Cody stood up and said "Come on ". "Why?" I asked, but he was already out of the classroom. I looked at the teacher and ran out of the classroom.when I got to the hallway, I fell in a complete shock. There were... 2...3...4 werewolves! What were they doing here? From the back a shout called my name. I couldn't look back with the fear that one of the werewolves would attack me. Then I heard it again, this time I heard it clearly, it was Rachel's voice screaming " Kane, get out of the way" then I thought 'Rachel is calli... get out of the way!' I looked back as fast as I could only to see Rachel with her fist on fire going directly to me! I dodged as fast as I could but I still got my arm seriously burnt. I was laying on the floor when Trevor got beside me and moved me back, he laid me down and went back to battle. Just in that instant, everything got cold, and when I say cold, I literally mean cold, at a point ice started to form on floor and walls.
Then something like a bullet passed right in front of my eyes hitting a werewolf in his arm making it freeze. What I heard next was something I can still not forget, the howl of the werewolf. It was a demonic howl that made your ears bleed. Of course I didn't know that and passed out.
