21|Close your eyes

What to wear, what to wear?
You were standing infront of your wardrobe, a blank look on your face as your eyes roamed over the rack of clothes infront of you.
You had a date with Jimin today, your first date to be exact, and you had no idea in the world of what you were going to wear, or where you were going for that matter. So that made it alot harder to dress up.
You sighed loudly, falling onto the bed behind you. Then, as if it was magic, your phone dinged. You spread your arm out. Your phone was right at the edge of the bed. You felt around the sheets with your palm, finding your phone and placing the screen right infront of your face.
You had a message from Jimin.
-“Hint: Dress casually... And comfy” You smiled as soon as you saw it, and you just thought, can he read my mind?.
-“Where are you taking me?”.
-“It's a surprise”.
You huffed, getting up, smile never fading.
After a few seconds of picturing outfits in your mind, you picked up a pair of black ripped skinny jeans, black chunky boots and a blue jean jacket. You hair cascaded down your shoulders with a slight curl, stopping right above your breasts.
You looked at the time on the wall. It was a quarter to seven. That meant that Jimin would be arriving any time soon.
You walked out of the door, locking it behind you, but before you took another step, you stopped to collect yourself for a second.
Dating had usually failed for you, in every way. The guys were either pricks, extremely weird and even boring, or the date would end due to an unexpected event. Going out there, to a man you thought you knew well enough, you didn't want to be dissappointed. You liked Jimin, you really did, and you kind of didn't want that to change. Not that you would ever admit to that ofcourse.
You composed yourself again, walking up the pathway that led from your house to the street. The trees were a bright green, and the cherry blossoms were starting to come out. It was probably your favourite time of the year. Everything screamed nature and positivity, and there was no better feeling then waking up to see the beauty of the pink blossoms outside your window every morning.
“Come on in” You heard a familiar voice say, zapping you out of your thoughts. You looked up to see Jimin smiling at you like an idiot.
You nodded immediately, hesistant, still feeling a little disorientated.
“Are you alright?” Jimin asked. You seemed kind of confused to him, maybe even sad. He didn't want any of that today.
There was a moment of silence. “Yeah, I'm okay”. That wonderful smile of your was back, just like that.
Jimin turned the key in the ignition, and the engine roared to life. You closed your eyes for a short moment, feeling the cold breeze run through your hair as the car glided through the street and onto the freeway.
Jimin couldn't stop looking at you. You had your eyes closed, your head resting on the seat. You looked extremely peaceful. Beautiful even.
Jimin tried to contain his smile as he drove off to the other side of town. Inside, he had this burning thirst to succeed. He was being selfish if anything, but he wanted to make you his; from the moment he laid eyes on you, he wanted to make you his.
He tried to relax. He didn't know how, but he tried. He tried to focus on the road, on driving, but you were too distracting. He turned on the radio, the music blasting through the speakers lowly.
You opened your eyes slowly. The song was one of your favourites.
“I love this song” You shouted, sitting up straight in your seat. Before Jimin could even think, you started screaming the words to it.
Jimin tried to contain his smile as you jumped around in the car like a crazy person. His cheeks were getting red at your cuteness.
“Come on sing with me” You said, pushing your head close to his face and singing in his ear. You weren't that bad, your voice had some sort of mellodic sound to it.
He shook his head in embarassemet, but joined in soon enough nontheless.
As you drove away onto the empty freeway, singing at the top of your lungs, the wind blowing in your hair, you were getting just minutes away.
“Okay” Jimin said in a calm manner “You're cute, but I am going to have to ask you to sit down and close your eyes. We're almost there”.
You rolled your eyes. “Really?”.
He nodded. “Yes really”.
You sighed, placing your palms over your face and letting your lids fold over your eyes.
You felt the car suddenly come to a halt. Jimin opened the car door, going over to the other side to help you out.
“Don't open them yet” He warned. He was trying to fight a nervous smile.
Your heart beat faster as you walked about ten metres, only to suddenly stop. You had no idea where you were, and your mind was starting to make up all kinds of places and scenarios.
Jimin placed his hands over your wrists, finally letting you see.
You looked around in shock, jumping around in excitiment. “You're kidding”.
